Lieutenant Speirs' is a badass!
scene from the 7th episode "The Breaking Point"
it took me a while to make this scene into Gif but totally worth it!
one of the best tv shows in all time.

Three times? Filthy casual.
Thechoochooman
I remember watching this part for the first time. That line "he came back." damn near made me jump off the couch like I was watching a game.

It's not by chance
BenPyke
Easily the best character in that show. But he wasn't one real person -- rather a collection as @WhatDoYouMeanICantStickMyFingerThere said.

Speirs was not an actual person, but a collection of other bad ass dudes made into one.

I loved the pre-show interviews they did with the real guys. I wish "The Pacific" would have lived up to BoB level of awesome.
SgtThunderfistMD
The pacific was no where near as good as BoB. It was more soap opera than anything else.
SparkyDoggg
It went off of two diarys of sledge and the other guy that's why, where as BoB was a book.
SgtThunderfistMD
I mean the reason doesn't really matter. It just wasn't as good.
