Okay, so I'm at my grams in country and I was just chilling this afternoon when suddenly I heard two cats having a showdown. Big two cats were fighting and at first I had no idea why. Then one ran away and I saw a baby that mom was protecting.
Now. I'm a dog person. I don't like cats simply because I think, no matter how cute or pretty, they are first and foremost assholes. But, I'm human before anything else and an animal lover. So I gave momma cat some milk. And then some more milk. Should I even give her milk? What the fuck do I know, I just follow stereotypes.
And I have no idea what to do anymore. Baby kitty can't walk and I'm pretty sure it can't see yet either. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be separated from her mom.
When I approach momma she runs away in fear even though I approach only to give her milk, I didn't try to touch her baby.
I don't want a cat. My grandma doesn't want a cat. We're in countryside where there are no pet shelters. What the fuck do I do?

Don't give her any more milk, it will give her a very upset tummy. Fresh water, maybe a box she can hide in with baby?
SparkleJBacontits
And if you have any cooked meat she might go for that it dry food is really not an option.

Congrats! You have been officially chosen to be a cat person!

Nope, nope. I am fluent in doge only.

Congratulations you now have a cat and a kitten.

Maybe grams does. I'm out of here in 2 days.

Where are they now? Momma cat likely has a nest somewhere nearby. Is she paying any attention to the kitten?
ctrlaltAna
They are chilling in the same spot and yes, mom is paying attention to her, as seen in the last picture.

You could put out a box and an old towel in case they want to hang for a bit. Mom should know what to do

The mom looks like she is in good health so she may live at a house or barn nearby. She'll likely take the kitten back where they came from

They are under some kind of crate atm here.

Put out a bowl of dry cat food, and fresh water, mama cat will provide the milk for her kitten. Call local council or ASPCA/RSPCA

I don't know what either of those are. I'm just gonna suppose it's an American thing. Like I said, in country, no shelters, no cat dry food.

You can google your nearest town and ”stray cats” And dry cat food is sold in any shop... Try the place your grandma gets her shopping from.

Nah. It's Saturday before Easter. Everything is closed and I don't have a car. That's the issue. :)
