I also felt that at least in XCOM1 the player's 85% was weaker than aliens' 85%. Aliens tend to hit more often from same percentages.

Dice rolling can be fun but there are limits to that too. the "85%" sniper misses felt bullshit in XCOM1 and they still do.

hate it because when your sniper misses the 95% chance that will save your medic but when your medic makes the 15% to save themselves.

It has such low min. requirements but it's so poorly optimized. Never goes over 20 FPS in base or above maybe 15 on soldier customization.

Mines on an SSD, it usually stays fairly even around 60, but on some missions with fire it drops to mid 30s. Also pre mission load screens
