I started in middle school with the YA trilogy and kept reading. Her other books are very good as well. Both of you, enjoy it!

can't go wrong with anne mccaffrey. Not a big fan of her sons continuation of the series

there are like 50 books in the pern series by her. plenty of material to keep you busy. the dragondrums trilogy was my favorite

Started with that trilogy in middle school and just kept reading all of them. SUCH amazing books. Todd doesn't do it justice, but he tries.

I love when writers I love have crap-tons of books, like Piers Anthony. Dug into Xanth as soon as I finished Incarnations of Immortality.
