Junk

There was a quote from Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs that I heard once that painted an imagine in my head. Today I finally tried to make this image real. The quote was “ he slid the needle in, a red orchid bloomed at he bottom of the dropper. Watching the solution rush into the boy-vein, sucked by the thirst of blood.” Obviously this is in reference to heroin or as Bill called it, junk, so this painting is that...

For the record I’ve never actually done heroin but I smoked a huge blunt before doing this
