George Lucas put his faith on Filoni to make the Clone Wars series. Worked alongside him for years, and together they made an amazing series. Dave knows George, he knows what's best for Star Wars, and Rebels proves it. The first season might not be great, but the second, the third and now the fourth are amazing, these last episodes from the fourth season are one of the best Star Wars material to come out of Lucasfilm, and definitely the best material to come out of Disney Star Wars... I don't understand why the movies need to be mediocre when they could be so much more.

What’s wrong with the new movies? I’ve loved all three of them. I do agree that filoni should get to direct a movie, that would be awesome.

They would have had to make everyone look a LOT younger, but it would have been awesome had they pulled it off.
