High resolution map of all the permanent and temporary streams and rivers of Australia in beautiful rainbow colours, divided into catchment areas. It shows Strahler Stream Order Classification. The higher the stream order, the thicker the line.

One of the most requested maps was one for Australia, so here you go. It looks more 'dense', compared to the US map for example (http://imgur.com/gallery/N4cUA), because I had to zoom out much more obviously to fit the whole continent, but it's more dense compared to my Europe map as well (http://imgur.com/gallery/yLCLD). That's mainly because this is from a different dataset, more detailed, but also my 'style' evolves with these maps. When I look at this, it reminds me of a fabric, especially the areas with a lot of smaller basins together.
