Not a single child is born knowing the color of their own skin or another's. Fact.

#3 is exactly how The Beatles and every great band in the 60s started (before the Monkees).

#4 he practically changed his mind on that one. Starts at roughly twelve minutes in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMPl25oraVc

Saw Chappelle on Jimmy Kimmell last night. Smart guy, in a tough business.

#2 'Do It Because It's Hard' - that's what she said.

Agreed

In response to #3, i agree about american idol and stuff, but media on the internet is a wonderful, free way to get noticed and gain footing

Love isn't the opposite of hate, its the opposite of fear. Hate is the result of fear.

I'm going to go ahead and downvote the Dave Grohl one.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 10

Why?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Joe Rogan looks like a potato with hair

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

This post was going so well ... then Joe Rogan.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Why the hate

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

+1 for the last one

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

I frequently do that to my bf when hes being sappy to me.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

fucking hate Dave Grohl, most overrated fucknut on the internet

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 11

The fuck you mean, fucknut? He's a beast of a man with his morals in the right place

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yep, he's a hero all right! where would we be without good ole Dave-o?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Never said hero, but the man is better than a lot of other people in his line of work. Like when he kicked an audience member out for (1/2)

Trying to start a fight

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just hate the guy and every once in a while feel like saying it where the ten million fans of his smarmyness will get upset

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

actually, people are born to be racist, just because they biologically feel less empathy for people that look different

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 21

Makes sense

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I would think tribalism or likeness to other people are a bigger factor than empathy. Empathy never seems concerned with skin color

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

it probably is aswell, but i know for a fact that there have been studies on empathy and race

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

To me it seems like tribalism kinda overrides your empathy, but it's probably more complex than that and closer to mix of both

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hate is pretty damn different from a lack of compassion, hate implies active repression and/or violence towards

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

true, but it can be a leading factor

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Nothing close to an excuse for behaving like a racist fucko, however

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sauce or a I call BS.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Google "babies empathy race" and it should come up several times

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It's not. You got a source?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just because Google brings up a result doesn't make it a reliable source. Where's the peer-reviewed study based on, y'know, reliable data.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I've never heard of that before. I would assume babies prefer what is known, which is often their own race. Where is that study?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

lol, i'm at school and am too lazy to look it up right now, but i'm sure you could find it on google, if not i'll find it later

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm at work :) and I just tried those exact search terms and couldn't find what you're referring to.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lol, all right, i'll find the study later

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Danke!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Dave Chappelle one is bullshit. This exact quote is attributed Mr. Robertson from Duck Dynasty, and also another obscure actor.

9 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 5

Incidentally it also kinda clashes with the Joe Rogan bit.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

afaik the original is from rick warren

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Our culture has accepted a huge lie....

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also is it me or is it a thinly veiled defense of homophobia?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 26

... this was sarcasm right? Has to be.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

not at all. after some googling I found out it's exactly what it is

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 11

What the hell did you google? "How to see homophobia in every statement"?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

The guy was talking about gay marriage. Same old "hate the sin not the sinner bullshit".

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Nah man, look under the quote, it has his name. That means he said it. It's a quote of his.

9 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

Besides, it's on the internet. Like, who would even think of lying here?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Queue the person with the picture of "Are you telling me someone would go on the internet and lie like that."

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Picture? Got something better for you:

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Now if it was in Papyrus font, there would be no questioning it.
