I guess you are not... that's what it looks at the moment.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does it rock?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because everyone wants to make a bed in a massive pile of gravel like some kind of terrestrial guppy.

Gorgeous! Lovely water reflection!!!!!!

Can you post more pics from this trip? :)

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Absolutely, I get to look through my photos then?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fantastiskt vackert där med fin utsikt över Keb. Var där '98 så det är ett tag sen nu ?

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ja det är en otroligt vacker plats. Kan tänka mig att det var ännu vackrare när du var där då glaciärerna inte hade smält av så mycket.

Amazing ?️

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Isn’t it 11:23?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I presumed he was at the same latitude as Kalixfors, then it's 11:13

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sweet Desolation. +1.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That just looks toooooo cold I would need a massive fire to sleep out there

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not so cold, just around zero

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What tent?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a Terra nova laser ultra. It's an ultralight tent

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks! Bit of a gearhead for ultralight backpacking. I’ll check it out! Been using tarptent notch but I want to move into more winter tent

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. You are not camping. You were camping... ;-)

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why is that the first thing I think about is the severe butt breath a person has waking up there?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have cellular service there?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

, Helpful, but it disappears quickly

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gorgeous!!!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thanks, It is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden, I think.??

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That looks cold as balls

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ser lite små stenigt ut :-D

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can I join you? I need some where to hide from my family and responsibilities.

4 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Of course, it's going well ??

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Of course, it's going well ??

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

It will be very intimate in the tent.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

How do you have cell service?!?!? I look at a mountain with my phone in my hand and I loose signal…

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There was some signal here. But it disappears quickly

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s amazing

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You set up your tent in the glacial till!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That rock wall suggests that camping spot is windy as fuck.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Swedish wind speed record is there. It peaked at 80m / s in the storm

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At what time of year was this picture taken?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

late August

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ohhhh... I thought you meant you took it today, and I had... several questions. (Not the least of which was about the temperature.)

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You just gave away your location to every bear that uses Imgur.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

??

'The beach is a bit rocky, but the water is brisk!'...

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, the water comes from the glaciers. It's beautiful but incredibly cold.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How’d you clear so many rocks?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are some prepared places where small tents can fit

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay sick, good to know.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where do you poop when you camp?

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

Bring 2 tents.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He takes to car to a toilet of massive, pristine convenience. Brilliant gold taps, virginal white marble, a seat carved from ebony, a 1

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

cistern full of Chanel No. 5, and a flunky handing him pieces of raw silk toilet roll. 2

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

On top of the closest hill, for max visibility to assert your dominance. (Also, less gnats in ya balls & butt)

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In the stone bushes ?

4 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

Behind a stone usaly.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Anywhere that isn't the tent

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

A hole you dig?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

aaaand [5secs later] the sun is just setting.

4 years ago | Likes 317 Dislikes 1

4 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Here sunset was 3:37pm, and it rose 8:42am. 56n.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

"risetting"

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wow! We’re those rocks already cleared for the tent?

4 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 0

Theses tent spots are ubiquitous on the stony parts of kungsleden, the primary trail through the swedish mountains :D

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Yep, they've prepared several places. Otherwise, the place is incredibly rocky.

4 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 0

Which one of them? 4?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Interesting that it's allowed to do such rock formations but I guess it would be near impossible to hike there if u don't have place to camp

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yes, the surroundings are so rocky that otherwise it would be impossible to camp

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Is that definitely a safe place to camp? Those rocks are there for a reason.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

Campers before moved the rocks to make a flat place to sleep and made a windbreak. Very common in sweden.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What I meant was that if there's rocks at the bottom, they probably came from the top. E.g. rock bonk head.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ya, deposited there by a glacier during the ice age.

4 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Honestly it looks like a pretty well developed glacial trough, could be an active (but seasonally recessed) glacier. Ie not ice age. I'm not

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

a glacial geomorphologist, but I do love glacial geomorphology.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not necessarily, it's called scree and are all the rocks that fall off the mountain due to erosion. Source: I studied geology.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Iv climbed a lot of scree in my life, that's not scree. That's nice round old rocks.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd have to disagree with you here, looks to me like the bed load dumped in the glacial trough during seasonal recession of a glacier.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Source: (almost have, just need to finish writing) masters in geology and am licensed geologist

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Did you study Swedish highlands too?
