What about it would you say you normally hate? I’d call what’s on showcase here as pretty standard stuff for the format. There’s worse stuff, certainly (mumble comes to mind, there are also misogyny and homophobic issues in the industry, not the fault of the genre though) but it’s also been a pinnacle for lyricism in an industry that consistently trends towards simpler themes, as well as (in the more direct cases) an avenue for people to very openly express distaste for oppressive forces.
It gets more amazing the more you know about rap. Y'know Kendrick Lamar? Pullitzer prize winner, the guy who won that big feud with Drake? He called Harry Mack's skill and creativity inspirational. This guy is just on another level when it comes to freestyle.

battle rap as a whole is only safe because harry mack doesnt swear or say anything negative in his rhymes, because he could take those skills and just absolutely destroy the battle rap scene pretty quickly.
Feestyle battles, any day, no doubt. I'd even say it's inly because he doesn't partake at all, he'd rule without swearing, too. Written battles are a different matter, though. There are and have been people with breathtaking wordplay, concepts, and stage presence. He'd still fare well, I believe. But there are some monsters out there.
i think harry at this point has done thousands of freestyles, and he can probably rhyme more words than eminem can given that eminem has been out of freestyle world for a while now. basically, in 2025 harry > em for freestyles, but in 2000 eminem > harry for freestyles? but not where harry is right now, like harry at his start. i dunno, im a huge eminem fan, im just dumping thoughts on here, i think eminem is an amazing song writer and lyricist and rapper, he has impecable flows and delivery.
i definitely think that as a whole package, eminem is better than what harry can achieve at any point. but as a freestyler? probably would be a lot like the royce / em frreestyle, from back in the day, where roy did amazing and em upstaged him? kinda like that, em will do amazing, but harry would upstage him in freestyles.
i would argue eminem is in his prime right now, as a whole package, as a rapper, he has access to all his flows, all his deliveries and all his great rhyming. harry is specialized freestyler, eminem is general rapper, i think they're both on top of the world right now, just in different fields.
