Looking for an old friend I've lost touch with!

tl;dr introduction-
I'm looking for an old WoW buddy I lost touch with several years ago to check up on. For some more details:
This started in circa 2012ish? Somewhere between 2011-2015. I met someone on WoW. We began texting back and forth after chatting over the game for a while. I was a pretty isolated kid at the time, and he was super chill about me pestering him. After a long while, maybe a year or so, we began texting back and forth less and less just because of life on both sides. One day after a long gap in time I shot him a text to check up, and it was no longer his number. There was no way to get back in contact, as he had stopped playing the game, and though we had talked a lot we had each remained somewhat private about personal details such as full names, what we looked like, etc. (Stranger danger, after all.) I'm up late and was thinking about social experiments for the hell of it to find long lost people, and thought I'd give Imgur a shot.
I understand if this gets out there a good majority of views will come from those without actively used accounts. I made a quick gmail for this reason. This is also a separate throwaway account so messaging won't work on my end unless this gets upvoted.
ANYWAY. As a final disclaimer; if you may know who this is, consider their privacy if you can help me find them. I, and probably you too, have no way of knowing whether or not they'd want to be found unless he is already coming forth voluntarily. In the end it's no big deal!
