Only time I get acknowledged at work is when someone wants something. I love customer service.

I had this dream last night. Today I was called retarded because someone else in the office printed the wrong forms and I was an accident.

Round here they hire someone with no leader ship skills whatsoever and demote you.

My job has pay scales that no matter how well you do your job you don't get more than that when you're hired and then 1/2

Every February you get a Dept of Labor raise and maybe a raise if the boss says you did a good job. 2/2

MRW I'm Ben Affleck and people like my movie.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

What movie was it?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Exactly what I'm asking myself.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im guessing Argo but thats only because it won best picture, no idea if this is related

I don't get the Affleck hate. As an actor he did make poor movie choices, but he is a talented scenarist/director.

Agreed... he was the best part of Batman v Superman, and I thought he was great in the Accountant. Couldn't resist the joke though.

Dont count your chickens before they hatch. My former boss said the same thing. Promised a raise and bonus. 1 month later laid everyone off.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Because he knew about laid offs and had some fun :D

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Oh yeah, he definitely had fun when he refused to pay everyone. He had fun all the way to court, but then lost everything in the settlement.

Mine promised me a pay raise for taking on responsibilities. 3 people's jobs im doing now after 2 years and nothing. Woo!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sounds like a good time to look for another job or talk to someone higher up. If you're truly doing the job of 3, can't afford to lose you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We've had 4 managers quit in the past year alone. He is the higher up and naturally has no idea what most of us do. Tried explaining 1/

How things work and he just gets pissy. Tired of it and am looking elsewhere. Most people are. Our turn out rate the last year is dreadful
