Several thoughts crossed my mind. None of them kind.

Man buns can't melt steel beams

Spatial awareness is something people are lacking these days. Just visit a Walmart.

Omg I’m so glad we didn’t just watch that person become paraplegic.

HEADS UP wait

Just like that steel beam was about to cross his mind. Horizontally.

Younger brother looked, saw impending doom for his bro, and ... said NOTHING (then grinned). His chance to climb the family hierarchy ruined

Mom to the rescue.

Always check your direction of travel.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In that situation should you yell "Heads Up!" to make them pay attention?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yell "duck". Then they go looking for a duck untill it hits them

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck it let natural selection do its thing, for him and his stupid parents

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Gen Z. “It was the tism”. Me with “the tism” for 50 years and rarely ever gets that close to being knocked out while having a bad haircut.

Some people need a babysitter.

Ignoring the guy's awareness levels for a second, it really feels like that boat should not be on that river if it has such a tiny clearance from the bridge. Especially with an open top deck that is clearly designed for people to wander around on

8 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 5

Agreed.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Oooooh... I was on a dinner boat in Thailand, they had similar clearance going under a bridge. Top deck having live music, dancing, eating, etc. Their gameplan? warn peple ahead of time to duck before going under the bridge. Then a second time while going back. Certainly not something that would have gone well over in the states without a lawsuit, Good time had by all!

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

this is done EVERYWHERE, you can find places in japan where the boat goes under the bridge at the driver jumps over the bridge.

this is perfectly fine, the only problem is stupid fucking tourists who don't understand common sense. I honestly feel we shouldn't care about these people because they clearly don't care about themselves.

they are the lowest of the low and the world has to cater to them because of how stupid they are, see how everyone on the boat understood the assignment?

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Yeah, tourist gondolas being paddled on narrow historic waterways at 2mph. This boat is on a wide open river and going fast enough to smash someone's head in if they aren't paying attention

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you know how rivers work? They are not the same height.... ever...

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She saved his life at that speed.

Zero situational awareness.

This dude has negative awareness. A miracle they have survived this long.

There’s a whole lot to be said for filling instructions exactly and without hesitation: they said duck, bro ducked.

He even stands up without checking what's coming next lol

The man bun would have absorbed the shock.
Then their skull would have absorbed the shock.

8 months ago | Likes 201 Dislikes 5

He probably would have forgotten about it pretty quick at least

But no brains were harmed.

Didn't even realize it was a dude until I read your comment.

Yes gramps, everyone should have a buzzcut and never enjoy their hair like they want. Hair is only for women and children.

8 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Just cause grampi wasn't into man-buns doesn't mean the rest of us ain't.

"Bonk" goes the head on the bridge.
"Bonk" goes the head on the floor.

8 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

It hits you, you hit the floor, ambulance hits 60.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He looked and saw it was there at the start.

8 months ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 6

Time for some new glasses

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

object permanence is a helluva drug!

8 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

He looks like the type of guy who would just ignore and than later complain lol

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right?

8 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I have a feeling that the bridge was exactly beyond their glasses rim

Like when the post by your windshield blocks your view of someone crossing

I dno I don't have glasses it just seems like their peripheral is somehow impaired and the fact that they have literal, vision aid devices on their face seems relevant so I took a shot

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Nah looks like he was talking to the person next to him, so probably wasn't paying attention to his peripherals or what was beyond the person he was talking to

8 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

The thing about peripherals is you don't have to pay attention to them, they're always there

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

he's also wearing glasses, so his peripherals are probably too blurry to really see anything

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Now that is a very good point

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As a person who has always needed glasses, this is the most braindead dumbass take Ive ever heard. 'Blurry' doesnt disappear a whole fucking bridge

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I didn't say anything about disappearing. just pointing out that he has a visual impairment that people were overlooking
