Remember him?

He’s sleepy.

Puppy face.

Alright so I found this guy in the parking lot of where we get sushi (no collar). He has been bathed and fed. He has drank a ton of water and is passed out in my lap.

My wife and I have 2 other dogs and a toddler so it has not been easy. Tomorrow my wife is taking this guy to the vet to see what needs to be done. He is not neutered and may have an ear infection. I am guessing no flees as it’s cold as hell in Michigan.

He is pretty high strung but super nice and so far pretty loving.

Part 3 will come tomorrow, good night.

He's adorable!!!

You are also a good boy, not just the dog. (Hmmmm...that sounds kind of creepy. Oh well)

Thank you for helping such a good puppy.

Awesome job op. Take it slow and steady with the food. And fleas will survive due to body heat so flea treatment and worming prolly. +1

+1 for prolly!

Pup's face reminds me of Fry's dog in Futurama - can't unsee

Posting just to see what happens tomorrow!

Well done! Boxers are THE best dogs but need a firm hand. Noticed his tail is docked so he's not a born wild stray & had a home @ some point

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Would break my heart for my dog to run away and someone pick him up and keep him assuming he’s a stray. Always check for lost dogs first :(

What a cutie! Make sure to post to local forums (might've been well fed/treated before lost?). Pending that/vet, welcome to your new friend.

Its not often that "good" owners will "lose" their pet

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

....or choose to dock their puppy's tail

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He had me at those eyes

Looks like a boxer, maybe? If so, welcome to your new addiction. Boxers are the best dogs.

THEY’RE ALL GOOD DOGS, BRENT!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes but they are high energy and with a toddler around it may not be the best

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's seriously underweight but it looks like a puggle, which is a pug bred with a beagle.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Way small for a boxer, unless it's a pup. Could be any number of squish-faced cross breeds, though, including boxer cross

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

It's hard to scale though. Porch shot looks small. Bed shot looks medium. Needs a banana.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Boxer pit or staffy cross is my bet. Maybe boxer bulldog. Nice looking dog! I hope he works out with your family :)

I do love Michigan's cold snaps, but seriously, Its APRIL, get the fuck outta here Winter, we're done.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Same here in WI. Snow again this weekend. *sigh*

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

70° today in on the MI/IN border

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weird. I live on the MI/IN border and it was definitely not 70. Maybe in the 60's.....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed, been snowing since 6am by Lake Superior

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s snowed at least a little for like 6 days straight now :(

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know, its Terrible. At least it was in the 50's today. Little Rainy, but still, at least its not snow right?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

good on you but make sure when at the vet you make sure he doesn't have a chip on the off chance he just got separated from worried owners

8 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 6

I don't get the fact that you have more concern for the owners who managed to "lose" their dog than the dog itself.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

because for you know the dog could have wandered away from owners while they were on vacation and could be thinking the little guy is dead

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I think the vet will test for a chip on all lost animals brought in though, no? Or are swedish vets alone in that regard?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

US vets will as well, but the vet needs to know the dog is lost/needs to be scanned.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I see :)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That dog looked underfed in the first post. If he had owners, fuck them.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 34

Could be lost for a while, OP could be a hero reuniting their loved pup home. Check for microchip

Adopted a puppy. He's skinny and I try to fatten him up. It takes time. I bring it up when people meet him so they don't think I did it.

Sensitive people smh.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When dogs get lost they lose condition really fast. It's not necessarily an indication of how they were treated by their owners.

8 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

This, but well if he did have owners, report them for animal cruelty, in case they have other animals.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 21

You know nothing of the circumstances stop assuming you do, because you don't. The dog simply could have just been lost for a long time.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Reporting someone for suspected animal cruelty doesn't mean they go to prison, it means qualified people investigate.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Except that's not what you implied on your original wording. All I'm saying is don't act like you know a situation when you don't.
