If the Titanic sank in 2009: v

TripAdvisor titanic page. 2/5, boat sank but WiFi was excellent and the buffet had unlimited shrimp.

LOL! It's the same, but they all have smart phones! Oh man!

Post Malone's a god

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I sure dont remember seeing many selfies during the las vegas event.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They do know someone legit sat in a life boat and painted the ship sinking.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe everyone's just keeping their communication devices safe and dry

8 years ago | Likes 297 Dislikes 4

Maybe they are all waterproof phones?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fact: The pool on the Titanic is still full.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He can fuck hoes and pop pillys but he can't save a ship

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Post Malone is a funny guy

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Even better artist

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Absolutely i just love that he is a funny guy who enjoys mems like the rest of us and does awesome music.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I dunno... The costa concordia sank while everyone had phones on them and I saw no videos for that

“Thoughts and prayers” *changes profile picture to jack and rose”

8 years ago | Likes 533 Dislikes 8

Thoughts and prayers miggt be vwry meaningful in a message to an individual that you know and care about. They are a meaningless cry for //

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

// attention when posted to social media about people you dont know personally.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Remember kids, never document anything

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

How about save youself?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Friday 13th 2012, Costa Concordia. Where are all the pics and vids...

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

There were many of it, taken by survivors. Can easily find them.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Maybe i was living under a rock that time...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But what if I need to validate myself by defaming younger generations and other people in general?

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

Post malone's twitter is somewhat entertaining

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

*people documenting a hugely important historical event* LOL, look at all those basic sheeple with their Twitter & their selfies!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

No, they would be drowning and freezing to geth and within a couple of minutes they would be dead. Fuck your jab at Smartphones.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Seriously. We saw this exact scenario in the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster. They used their smartphones to say goodbye to their families.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That is actually really fucking horrible.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tell me about it. I used to live in Ansan, where many of the victims went to high school. Some of my students probably had younger siblings

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

on that ship. It was a really fucked up situation. Those kids weren't shallow techno-zombies. Phones let them speak to family one last time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bet emergency services would have been able to to respond faster

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

A lot of places in the ocean can't do cell signals. It would be way easier to see people in the water from their lights, though.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have a torch app on my phone that can strobe. Very visible at a distance.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

An actual distress signal would be sent out, some sort of safety procautions. all that good mocern stuff

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Inflatable lifeboats. Never worry about how your deck looks again!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Is that the real post Malone?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Yeah his Twitter is fucking hilarious

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah thats his twitter

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

WTF

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

CEASE YOUR INVESTIGATION

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://imgur.com/dsy3OO3 There would be enough lifeboats for everyone, the ship would have radar, and everyone would have flown instead.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bet you the idiot who doesn't use landscape is the only one to survive and post video!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I admire the almost universal use of horizonal video grip though

8 years ago | Likes 2134 Dislikes 8

Unfortunately it is inaccurate.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Those vertical recording people are all locked in the lower decks where they belong!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

even though we all know people would record vertically like the dumbasses they are

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the most unrealistic part of this image

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's in a moment of crisis that we're humbled and come together

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Makes it easy for the lifeboats to figure out who to pick up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's the future

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

that's how you know this is fake.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

thats where i call BS. ive seen how many people still use the vertical

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sadly I think it's on the rise, not decline.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why do people hate vertical grip? it's easier and works for most subjects. And at this point, social media is designed for it

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

Maybe by that point most people will realize they can record video and take pictures horizontally

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I'm shocked. Since when people film horizontal subjects horizontally?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

In a wonderful future. Except for these drowning people of course.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The inferior beings who film vertically didn't survive as long.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That person was drowning

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's not good for Stories tho

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

They should change it to vertical halfway through, though

8 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pro vertical videos. I'm recording them & watching them on a phone. Why not record them in the natural orientation of the device?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

Because it will not fit entirely in most cases you #$%)!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

you can turn it to watch it horizontally tho

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Gotta love the couple on the right taking a selfie.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They'd all survive if it were 2017 since the water would be lukewarm even if it were in the fucking antartic circle

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Also commercial ships are required to carry lifeboats for max capacity plus 25% now.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Didn't the titanic have less lifeboats than required though.

Ah ok, close enough :p

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The problem was that regulations didn't keep up with the increasing size of ships.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ships over 10,000 tons had to have 16 lifeboats by law. Titanic was 53k tons and carried 20 (though the original plans called for 64).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck it, there is no chance, that many use landscape...

8 years ago | Likes 473 Dislikes 17

These are mostly the passengers from First Class, remember. They're civilized.

This comment was written by Christopher Walken.

Anger, despair, and conclusions.

those commas don't make any sense.

Its kind of like open form poetry tho

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He JUST got the brain implant. Don't worry, he'll learn how they work.

Hurr durr technology is bad fire is scary thomas edison was a witch

Just a guess here but, you may be pushing the Q-tips in too far when cleaning your ears.

Thank you. This comes to mind ?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

Actually fire can be a good thing. It's all about moderation.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is going to be my response to everything people say to me from now on

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's not the technology that's bad, it's people's priorities.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Speaking as an historian, I'm okay with recording events as a priority.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Well, again, what are they supposed to do? Save the ship? Passive spectators have always been around anyway.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

So let me get this straight... You're drowning in the ocean and your first instinct is to pull out your phone and record a sinking ship?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why not? If I'm floating in the middle of nowhere, there's nothing I can do until help arrives. Anything that helps me stay awake.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thomas Edison was a thieving asshole. Tesla was the real inventor.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 8

It was a quote, though.

#MakeNikolaGreatAgain

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Tesla was the real witch. BURN HIM!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stop reading the Oatmeal pal. Edison and his team invented a ton of important stuff. In fact, Tesla stole from Edison 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Except for laying the foundation for the modern semiconductor and establishing the concept of commercial labs, sure.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Edison really did invent factory labs and mastered the art of using other peoples genius make you rich and famous. Just like Steve Jobs.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

and no, Im not saying he got rich and famous off of tesla, he got rich and famous because he recognized genius and harnessed it for cash.
