Hairdresser told me my dog should have been muzzled..

Had a heated discussion with my hairdresser today about dangerous dogs. I told her that I used to have a Rottweiler called Bella (Sadly she had to be put down a few months ago). She lectured me on how certain breeds should be muzzled as they are naturally aggressive and dangerous. I hope I don't rustle any feathers when I say that is a load of horse s**t. All dogs have different personalities and temperaments. If you train a dog to be aggressive then of course they can be dangerous but to label certain breeds as dangerous is ridiculous. Bella was the friendliest dog you could come across. She was so affectionate and never showed any signs of aggression. Just a small rant but felt I had to say it.
P.S. She had almost finished my haircut at this stage so all is fine ;)
