There's WAY too much STUPID money out there!

I remember some show (maybe Penn and Teller?) where they had a painting in an art gallery and an art critic was asked to give an appraisal of a piece and she gave a good number in the thousands. The person then asked "what if I told you it was painted by a gorilla?" And the appraiser said "oh, $200." I may be getting some of that wrong, but that was the gist.

Derivative of Ruby The Elephant from the Phoenix Zoo.

Thanks now I'm hungry

I think this probably means “painted by an animal”, although I might pay an extra couple grand if the pig would actually handle the accounting of it all for me too

he looks sooooo chuffed!!!

2 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

According to my research chuffed means "very pleased."

e.g. "I'm dead chuffed to have won"

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That'll do pig.

Friendly reminder that the art market is just money laundering for the 1%.

But why was Picasso in a slaughter house???

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some Pig

Biologically speaking, all human artists are also animals.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was amazed to see art by elephants that depicted clearly recognizable objects.

Nobody tell Pigcasso about the ear thing.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think you’re thinking of Vincent Van Hog

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The OTHER ear thing.

A pig gets paid more than I do in a single painting. I hate this planet.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Swell pig.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That isn't very good, I could do better. Pig should find another job.

With a pig that talented, you only eat him a little at a time

OMG, that joke 😂

And in the art world that means Ka-ching!

Will there bacon at the funeral?

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Shame on you. Yes.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Pigs in a blanket would be more fitting

If you find this piggy cute, please consider reducing meat from diet :) Farm animals are just as cute as cats and dogs!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As someone who has and loves all animals. nah, meat is tasty.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I love meat too! But I love animals and when you love someone/something, you want what’s best for them, not for you. You set them free from your own needs. That’s maturity, empathy, and kindness 😊 If you don't want to be born into slavery only to be killed at the end so someone can enjoy their dietary preference, they don't want that either.
I’m not perfect so I still eat meat, but I try to eat less when I can

Okay no lie though that art's kinda good. Like it's visually appealing.

It is!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I gotta admit, I can't do any better.

A lively palette combined with energetic rhythm and confident mark-making offer an opportunity for humans to explore the porcine condition at the farmyard/studio interface.

Give me his snout print as a signature and I'd put that up

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

it feels like joy...

Better than any Jackson Pollock I've ever seen.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And here i was wondering how they tricked someone into paying 20000 pounds for a painting by a pig. My mistake carry on.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I disagree, but that's the thing about art- it's personal and subjective.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

I also disagree, it's just a pig or person wiping randomly.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

You're personal and subjective
