There will be a corpse and it won't be mine if my sense of smell doesn't return to normal. I'm on Day 10 and my roommate is on Day 7. Thankfully our senses are coming back, though severely dulled and its on an ebb and flow path. Both of us had missed the 5th Jab.
Also this was fun fuckery with my head--anxiety SUPER high up, depression HIGH, fun times. Once is more than enough for me.

Covid kicked the absolute piss out of me. Don't think I moved off the couch for more than 10 mins in 2 days. Lost almost 5 LBs cos I was too sick to eat for so long. Then I had Covid cough for a month.

Woke up Sunday with glass in my throat, first thought was actually strep. Have progressed through flu symptoms since then: deep chest cough, minor sinus drainage, muscle and joint pain, borderline migraine.

I had similar symptoms when I got Covid last year and I was back to normal in about a week. Hopefully you have a fast recovery too!

I've had it twice. It's really sucked both times. Now my wife has it (tested positive 5 minutes ago) and I've been trying to support her without exposing myself. I expect it'll end in death or divorce, she's a terrible patient.

Really. I caught it 3 times now. Once before vaccines which was terrible. But the other 2 have been so breezy I don't even stop work, from home.

We managed to avoid infecting my partner: I’m not quite sure how. Masked in shared spaces, slept in different rooms and I just lived in the other room except to eat and use the lav. Obsessive hand washing. Still figure it was 1/2 luck (and vaccinations), but it is possible to do.
