Sounds like my commute when I was in the DC metro area. It's like two hours, two and a half hours some days. I hope your day is not horrible and you stay warm.

I work in an outreach program for people with disabilities. Monday I brought a non-verbal teen for a walk when we stayed at my place an watched a few episodes of gumball before returning home. Life is hard, but the happiness I can bring to others is enough for me right now.

Each morning, if not three or four times in the night, I find that I am still here. Again, no one asked me if I wanted to be here, and yet... here I am. I go to work, because why not? Perhaps I will learn something. After work, I entertain myself with whatever frivolous thing has my attention at the moment. I do my errands and chores while I decorate the time with incredible music. And my every moment is consumed with visions of what could have been, what could be, if we never discovered power.
