Who else misses bioshock infinite?

I literally started playing yesterday, good timing!

I'm playing through it right now.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Fuckin hated that game..

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Best AI helper ever

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow she really aSALTed him in the last one. Quite inSALTing to see. I'm offended.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bioshock infinite has shitty gameplay, level design, and the game is a quarter the length of the original bioshock

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Funnily enough, i was playing this a few hours earlier....I think I'm being watched.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought that game at least one week ago and I'm still playing it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That game Fucked me up

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Best AI companion ever. You could make her do some wild swings with her leg though, if you had your back to her and turned around fast.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TBH I didn't like it as much as the other ones

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Through out half the game i thought she was calling me Booger, and not Booker.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just played it for the first time a few weeks ago, was superb.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just bought Bioshock Remastered, and the gameplay is much better. The plasmids were so much more interesting.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah infinite had my favorite story but 2 had my favorite game play

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gameplay wise, sure, but I wanted my morality choices to affect the ending. (The cage or the bird for the choker, and throwing a baseball)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just finished the 1999 mode and the dlcs on the hardest modes. I really enjoyed it all the way

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I was terrifified just reading what 1999 mode was, but eventually decided to stop being a pussy. Good times

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but burial at sea killed her...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want them to seal a roof "CATCH"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Finally beat this a few weeks ago. ;_;

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

BOOKER CATCH

That's my Wi-Fi password.

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Misses? You can still play it, y'know?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

i love that game currently playing it on 360 but might get the remaster

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Subtle things you always miss with these games. Like Elizabeth flipping the coin to you? Always lands on the same side, a choice you made.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jesus fuck. I never knew that.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The original Bioshock was close to a masterpiece, where story and gameplay were in perfect harmony. Infinite banked on the same concept, 1)

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 11

but lacked all of its finesse. A lot of thought was put into the Rapture universe, everything you came along felt like it belonged there, 2)

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

like it made sense. In contrast Infinite had a much weaker storyline, that was pretty much all over the place, delved into vague 3)

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

metaphysical bs that was never properly explained, and enemies/gameplay mechanics felt random, like they were put there in an effort to 4)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

provide an interesting gaming experience as opposed to being an inherent part of the universe you're exploring. 'Twas a disappointment. 5)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

On a positive note though, Elizabeth was a great character and her role as sidekick was one of the few nice things about the game. 6)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

It is a pretty mediocre game, not great, not bad. Mildly interesting and doesn't fit the series. Not 'art' like some say. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 18

Generic multiverse story. pretty bland gameplay. Clearly made to try to appeal to new and old players.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 15

I agree, shame youre getting downvoted

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

But this is imgur, they don't realise the downvote is for irrelevant and spam posts. To them it = I don't agree so -1. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If only they would discuss things they don't agree with instead of mindlessly downvoting.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

https://youtu.be/VdNhwb7iuI4 I will forever post this in infinite threads, it was a bad game. I'm glad people enjoyed it but I found it 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/2 idiotic and slack. The story has horrible holes and the gameplay is abysmal, what got me was no visual upgrade to guns. Just lazy

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Someone enjoyed someone that you didn't? The nerve!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Well first off fagbag I just said I'm happy other enjoyed it, you however are clearly too thick too have a proper arguement too or for.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Oh, honey. Irony.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

*reads comments* ah jeez I thought Infinite was really good.

9 years ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 6

Good. Yes. Worse than 2, which was worse than the original.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Infinite was the best; I love it

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It was. No game is perfect, plenty of people hate popular titles too, doesn't mean you will just cause someone bitched about their opinion.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

I really liked it, loved how the storyline flowed, kept me hooked until the end

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did some people think it wasn't?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Things make to much sense when you replay it after playing completely through

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was my favorite out of all of them :/

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Only bad one was the second.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I loved it. Honestly thought it was the best of all three.

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 9

I can't rate it higher than the original. Tossup with 2 at least.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is. The thing about Infinite is the streamlined gameplay allowed for more nuance in the storytelling. But no one saw it because of that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't know if I'd go that far. Solid second place for me.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I think I'm the only person on the planet who liked the second one the best.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*reads this comment* wait what? People exist that thought this game was anything but fantastic?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

I mean, the combat is sort of bland, especially if you've played 1&2. The story is also really pretentious, but some people dig that D:

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I played 1 and pretended 2 didn't exist. As I assume most others did. And I didn't find the story pretentious personally.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most people actually think 2 was really good :P

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow. But it was just 1, but with nothing interesting happening... I dunno, each to their own.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was the only bioshock game I played through, and when the twist was revealed, I sat with my hands on my head for a while, in awe. :o

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 4

One of those games that gives you a new experience on the 2nd play through, when you realize all the hints to the ending

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For me it was kinda confusing towards the end with all the time travel and paradoxes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And then I played it a couple more times, and then I read all Wiki's on net to figure it out...!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was sad it ended, but I was in awe as well. It made me fall back in my chair. Once the credits hit, bliss.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Previous bioshocks were even better

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

For some reason, 1&2 didn't work for me.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know i'm heretic

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tried multiple times to play through 1. I think its got shitty shooter mechnics. I dont feel skilled playing it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I should really get around to playing it, picked it up from Humble a while back

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's not really worth it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 13

Don't play on hard. As a gamer who enjoys challenge BI drove me nuts in hardest difficulty.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

It's not very hard at all if you actually hit your shots

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not that you can fucking hit your shots because of the UI clutter. Shield break effect covers the entire screen.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

And fuck the graveyard boss

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

The story is good but gameplay design is shit in BI

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Holy shit, really? Now I have to go back.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoops. Sorry. Put the comment in the wrong place lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that makes sense!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, someone mentioned something about Elizabeth flipping you coins and it always landing with the side you chose face up. Never caught it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Such a good game. Such a terrible sequel.

9 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 23

I don't understand why they tied to rapture at the end. Infinite was a strong enough game to be released as a stand alone departure from 1-2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You should play the Burial at Sea DLC. It connects Rapture with Columbia in a very ingenious way

9 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

No one here understands the ending

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's not a fucken hard ending to unserstand.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Did anyone? It was just a bunch of pretentious time shifting garbage thrown together to look smart.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

What? No it was just different time lines and Emily moved sideways through time, thus showing that rapture was just another time line

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

God damn this. It was an okay game but ino it didn't fit as a Bioshock game

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

It wasn't meant to be at first. Title was simply Olympia. Studio thought they'd sell more if they added the franchise name to it.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That makes a lot of sense

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i am very interested in the next one

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't think there will be a next one, if I remember correctly the creator of Bioshock said he wasn't going to make any more. :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah, the studio, or some other studio got the rights to it, like halo and bungie.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hopefully they don't ruin it I've loved every game so far, it's probably my favorite game series. Any idea when we can expect a new one?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

few years at least haven't heard anything for a while

It's easy, it's all just different time lines and Emily was able to move sideways through time to get to them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was more of a story that can't be placed at any hard time relationship to 1 or 2 because of wibbily wobbly timey wimey stuff.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Can it be played without having played the others?

Cool. Thanks.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No problem. You can probably find a triple pack online for any of the systems cheaper than each invidiual game.
