Plot twist- It's excruciatingly painful as it paralyzes the cat but gives it temporary amnesia so it forgets the crippling agony. Repeat.

Doesn't this look mean

A binder clip clamps with much more force than their mother ever used. I wouldn't recommend it.

i think that was a vet...

It's funny, I pick up my sister's cat by the scruff and he just gets super cuddly for a bit after.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

don't pick up grown cats by the scruff pls, it is only for Kitten (you can crab the scruff and Lift the cat with another Hand)

cat.exe has stopped working

*pawsed

FWIW, this works but is very easy to screw up and injure the animal. Should only be done by a vet and only for very short periods of time.

And then there are the ragdolls who just go dead floppy when you pick them up.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

they're huge and they're doofy and they're great

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's called tonic immobility. Almost every animal has this built into their physiology.

Great now some fucktard is going to try this & forget it on the cat. Please don't do this to your cat!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Also works for catsnakes

this is the best life hack i have ever seen (if it works)

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

It mainly works with kittens, the response seems to lessen with older cats.

My cat is not made submissive by it, but he has learned that if I pinch him there he's in trouble and about to go to time out.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I will test this on my cat. Will let you know....

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We can only assume now that he died in battle

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

It was for science

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3hr ago... I can only assume he died

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

He didn't think of what he would do when he let go.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. Cat was pissed when let go.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That looks incredibly painful.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 16

They don't feel it, but it's still a dickish maneuver, pretending to be mama cat and all. I only use it when they are extremely ornery.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

For you

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pinch the skin on your elbow as hard as you can. It feels like that.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

dayam ........ i wonder how many people have pinched their elbow after reading your comment . i know i did ....... no pain cool

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mean? Yes. Cruel? Kinda. Painful? No.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 48

Obviously mama cats are very abusive

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Cruel being putting the binder clip on its neck.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 21

Doing exactly the same thing a mother cat does, in the exact same place with no compression nerve endings so the cat feels no pain? Abusive!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well it's not exactly the same. It's perpendicular to what a mother cat would do.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

This is some PETA shit goin on here!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Let me rephrase: It's not cruel in hurting the cat, it's not cruel in attempting to harm the cat in any way. It's kinda cruel that they...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

put the clip on the cat. I am not affiliated with PETA in any way.
