One of my all-time favorites. I’ve recommended it to so many people that I I’ve lost count, and I don’t think a single one of them has ever watched it. I’ll keep recommending it though, because it’s so good.
Every time I pass by a flock of geese chattering to each other it makes me think of that film. "A cocktail party." "What?" "It sounded like a cocktail party." "Make a right at the reservoir!" "There's a cocktail party at the reservoir?" "Uhh... yeah. You'll see."
Absolutely brilliant movie. Particularly timely as it was released 6 weeks after Clinton declassified the existence of the NSA. [Yeah, people on fort Meade used to hear "that building doesn't exist", "we can't talk about that" and "no, that isn't an antenna farm. We need to discuss this privately".]
Lot of it for me is being aware of my surroundings simply by listening (the blind guy being able to navigate simply by listening to the background sounds). My voice is my Passport. No dating app would match her with him. Lots of triggers that cause me to think of specific scenes.

Thank you, that was great.

RIP, sir. Another great movie of his is "All Is Lost". Admittedly the level of interest is enhanced by knowledge of blue-water cruising.

3 Days of the Condor, the sting, all the presidents men, the last castle, spy game. Those are my favorites of his

It is fairly rare that I wish to give more than one upvote. This is such a time. Well done. :salute:

Really solid actor. Sad to see him go.

Casting him in Sneakers was an odd choice. He played it so well though.

Just watched this two nights ago. It’s a movie that actually had hacking things right.

Haven’t seen it since it came out but as an IT person, I remember thinking the movie wasn’t very good.

Yeah, while it was good overall it seemed a bit, blah maybe? Haven't watched it in years though.

You should, definitely worth the 2 hours. The technology is a bit dated, but isn't really that era specific so it's not a big deal.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of some aspect of this movie.

So it's not just me then (mostly it's this scene). Good? I guess?

One of the warnings we had in 'security training' at a 3 letter US government agency included the statement 'If you're a 2 and she's a 10 - don't. '
