I was under that diagnosis a year ago. 48-hour Holter later and they found other manageable issues that gave a false positive. Keep up hope!

Had a teacher, was a vietnam vet, said he was able to bench 400+ pounds back in the day, had heart surgery back then and couldnt do much,

Yes. I have new lungs. Pills aren't a big deal compared to oxygen and breathing treatments. Pills were a norm before transplant, too.

I've had a double lung transplant. Life is infinitely better now. First 18 months was rough, but I'm lucky and things smoothed out later.
