Do you ever just hate people who spend thousands of hours mastering something? Like, be fucking lazy, like the rest of us. Jeez.

It's a parody artist but still really cool

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

it surprisingly close to Bill Waterson's artwork.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't usually like crossovers. But I enjoyed this.

The family photo:

Still mad they got rid of Han and Leia having twins. Jaicen and Jaina have a way better story.

This is absolutely brilliant. It’s times like this that I realize how untalented I really am at life

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I feel like this accurately represents both Calvin & Hobbes and Star Wars

Dude if my kid built a rancor snowman in our yard I would get him an art grant.

8 years ago | Likes 427 Dislikes 2

You know... another famous villain was an artist too...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

G.W.B.? =-P

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To be fair, if your kid had the know how to do that, you could get him an art and an engineering grant. Kid's probably smart as fuck.

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

Yup, get him a MacArthur Foundation Grant!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You have not seen Calvin and Hobbes, my friend.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes. Yes I have.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats like saying "if my kid had skill, id tell someone so he could maybe use it"

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Sounds about right, yeah. I mean who brags about their exceedingly average kid? "My kid tied his shoes today!" "He's 15, Bill."

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Heh. My dad wouldn't brag on me unless I could outshoot him. And he didn't make it easy. I didn't get much praise growing up.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there's a balance to be had in everything. Set challenging but achievable goals and praise when they reach them. Set new ones.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Who among you, if your son asked for bread would give him a stone?" .... I had an answer for that one. Got the stone more than once.

It's gunna throw everything off when we find out Rey is a Solo.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It’ll be fine. Star Wars has a long and respected tradition of very close families.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pshhh, enough with that stupid theory...she's obviously a binks.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What's the theory behind that? Best that I've heard, Rey is likely another Kenobi.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The Lea Hug (look this up in the script), pilot, she recognizes the "family" light saber, Kylo freaks out at the mere mention of a "girl"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lucas said it was a story about a family. And speaking of, twins run in the family.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would say because 1. the Falcon is on Jaku, and 2. the subtle hints that Rey looks to Han as a father figure... But I don't buy it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She's obviously a Binks.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Really selling that one, huh? :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's all probably fair use, but man he better bone up on intellectual property law.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

If he’s making money off of it, he could very easily face a lawsuit...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's safe. It falls squarely under fair use, in particular, "parody" (of both Star Wars and Calvin and Hobbes) and is therefore protected.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3. use an amount and substantiality of the original as is necessary to recall and reference the original, but then inserting 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 sufficient originality as to separate the intended parody from the purpose of the original. (and he's adding suffecent originality)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, I believe he'd win a lawsuit, but even a successful defense can be very expensive.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know a lot of people like the Little Kylo stuff, but every time is see this I just think about how he's gonna kill his dad. Not cool, Kylo

8 years ago | Likes 136 Dislikes 4

Solo was weak. And he is/was the most overrated scoundrel in the Galaxy. And Ren was thankful at least.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

This whole post seems much darker when you consider how traumatizing the events would have been. Choking a slave master with your leash?1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Here, i made him out of peas

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

that scene was heart wrenching. i heard someone yell “NO!” and start crying in the theater when i went to see it.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I knew it was coming and it still bothered me when it happened. I'm just not into seeing characters I've known since childhood get slain.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And his mom.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow......... Spoiler tags, dude omg

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6
