I love that they asked to say hi (especially after Travis said they could) because that's the polite thing to do! You should always ask to say hello, ask to pet, or otherwise give the owner time to intervene and say "please don't touch" -- don't just walk up to a stranger's cat or dog and start petting right away. Also IDK what went wrong with your new gear, everything seems fine to me. Must've edit out the bad stuff? :D

It's got 3 power settings: 1 - no pedal assist, full throttle control to 10 kmh 2 - no pedal assist, full throttle control to 15 kmh 3 - basically full throttle anytime you're pedaling, plus full throttle control to 25kmh. Full throttle control is illegal in the UK of course. Also, it's a single speed and the gearing is so low that you can't really pedal faster than like 20kmh.

Does it have gearing or just power adjustments? I assume the former since the e-cars I’ve owned have D and R and that’s it.
