Hard to stay mad at these faces though...

#husky #sheepadoodle

Most insurance won't cover a stolen car if the keys are left in it.

Crack the window open enough to reach in next time?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This is why I have a second key.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I recently did this and got a fine. Did you get a fine?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For everyone asking: her name is Oprah(9 week old sheepadoodle), the husky is Kiba(also responds to Kibasaurus or Derp).

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Or alternatively leave the dogs at home........

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

I always keep a spare door key in my wallet. Car has a chip key but I was able to get a chipless flat key made that works for the locks.

What a son of a bitch.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

And the same who people complain about climate change and global warming leave their cars running for 30 mins.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 23

No, those are likely not the same people. '

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Carry extra key in wallet? No Problem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do they not have drive thru's where you live?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If you want a crappy burger. If you want a good burger you got to walk in an grab a chair

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is nobody gonna comment how he left the windows closed?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is nobody gonna comment how this guy left the title unreaded? wait i just did

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a good pupper right there.

8 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 4

Safety first! - pupper...probably.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

yeah see you get it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I keep a valet key with me for just such an occassion. It came with the car im not fancy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Adorable puppy, looks like a teddy bear!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or you know drive thru

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Some people aren't so lazy and actually leave their vehicle too ya know

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That OP had to go inside implies that there was no drive-through. This isn't something you should need to have explained.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

In some cities, drive throughs are illegal. Burlington VT is my local example.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's ludicrous. Why? That's like outlawing ducks wearing pants. For no other reason than they wanted to....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A commonly heard reason is environmental concern over car exhaust in the city, but maybe it was to promote eating at our small businesses

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you even call it fast food if you have to get out of your car?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had a POS car once where the ignition was screwed and I could take the key out while the car was on. It turned out to be a great feature.

8 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 0

I can do that also..., since my car has a button to start

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My car does that. I love to freak out new passengers.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a car where the ignition was so worn out, I could stick a butter knife in, twist, and it'd start right up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think this is a little less secure.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just have a keypad on my door.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haven't seen that in a really long time...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It is a 2011 Escape. I really like that feature. A lot of the new ones are no key and just let you in when you get near it. Pretty nifty.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My last car did this. I freaked out once when I got home and my keys werent in the ignition, and for a sec I was like, "HOW DID I GET HERE?"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i can do this too. Then again my car has push-start ignition so it really isn't a fair comparison.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

My car screams at me if I do that

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My Yaris does this

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Does MY Yaris do this??? *Runs out to my car*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both cars i've owned did that. Most recent was a 2003 Saturn. Turn it on, pull the key out, let it warm up. Forget to put it back in...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I had a '99 Saturn that was like that too, but I never forgot to put the key in. Then again I only took it out so that if someone tried to->

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

steal it they wouldn't be able to quickly/easily restart it when they stalled the engine thanks to it having a manual transmission.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My was stick too. Id pull it out and let it warm up in the driveway in winter.Id get to work be frantically patting my pockets for the keys!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe take the key fob with you? Just sayin

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 38

Okay captain hindsight

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

A key fob does not exist for this vehicle. The Key has to be in the trucks ignition switch to have the AC on...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The AC was on, which implies the key was in the ignition.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can't be older than 12 I 'd guess.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Spare key in the wallet at all times.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My truck's key fob IS the key. It's integrated right into the head/bow.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My key fob doesn't work when a key is in the ignition soooo...

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hot and fresh out the kitchen ?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"soooo..."?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

...Sooo the key fob would have been completely useless in this situation.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yes, that was the obvious implication. Just leave it with that. Or finish spelling it out. Just avoid that obnoxious "sooo..."

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Take a look at the vehicle and check back.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Best comment right here

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah that's definitely a late 90's Ford Ranger. Source: I own one.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m guessing no key fob?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It was an option, and based on my experience one many people didn't take.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. Source: also have one

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The husky goes everywhere with me and it's never been a problem in 4 years, just didn't anticipate the puppy hitting the button. ????

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 6

It's hardly a huge effort on your part to take your keys though? Then you definitely don't get locked out.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 53

Car was running, so keys in contact.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

Kinda need the keys in the car to keep the AC running.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

For these older cars yeah, but if you have push start ignition you can take the keys with you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 17

This doesn't look like a brand new car with fancy start button.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Not every car has a key fob Mr fancy pants.

8 years ago | Likes 121 Dislikes 2

It surprises me how dumb people are.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

v

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My key is on the key fob . I have 2 so I leave one key in my car in the winter months .

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can cut a duplicate at the local hardware for $2.99.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Not on newer models.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Newer models are usually laser cut and getting a copy costs around $90 and has to be done at a dealership, and that's just for a basic key.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, they're not laser cut they're still cut like normal keys but there are interface chips that have to be programmed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Its a Ford Ranger built between 1993 - 2012. There is a pretty good chance it's not a chip key. Even if it is you can get a normal key ...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.. and hide it under the truck to unlock it with. Source: I work at the aforementioned hardware and have cut dozens of keys. Dozens.
