So in the source material Baldurās Gate 3 Karlach the character OP is cosplaying as has an infernal engine for a heart. That infernal engine has the ability to accept soul coins. This part I am fuzzy on as I donāt know the process through which the soul coins are made. When Karlach uses a soul coin her engine goes hotter and stronger and she enters an enraged mode.

Karlach wonāt hook up with my character and Iām pissed. Iāve slut screwed my way through the entire party, an illithid, and two drow hookers, but no dice with Karlach.

Karlach is a special case that too, in that she will be open to poly early on (because she is living in the moment and thinks she can die any moment now; which she infact can) but once you give her hope and start fixing her engine, she'll want to be more exclusive.

Thanks for the info btw. First play-through I didnāt find her till I was moving on to the crĆØche. Lazel is such a downer but sheās impressive as a fighter. Warrior/barbarian class doesnāt do much for me.

I failed to romance anyone on my first playthrough, because, apparently, i didn't rest enough to trigger enough camp events.

Wow well somebody is bragging over here. I find the balanced play through difficult under level 5 if you arenāt VERY good at mechanics and spell usage.

Honestly, if you are having trouble, either have your player character be, or when you get Withers, respecc someone into, a Life Domain Cleric. After that, staying alive shouldn't be a problem.

I have a life domain cleric. I just found shadoheart to suck for awhile, but also idk how to properly buff.

Fun trick, take someone in the camp who isn't going to actively join you, and have them take all the buff spells, like longstrider and aid. That way, you will leave a rest with full spellslots and buffs. As for temporary buffs, i mostly just grab a sorcerer for Twinned Spell, and use Haste, and then for the love of God, make sure they either don't get hit or have great Constitution, because that is a save you don't wanna fail.

Pretty sure the secret to romancing her is just "don't be a jerk", so, you know, maybe try that.

Ask anyone who's ever had one of *those* paladins at their table. Even a good aligned character can be an unreasonable hardass that nobody likes. Nothing wrong with playing that character, either, if it brings interesting narrative points to the story.
