What do you mean "was". Analog system with 4 octave channels. Manual splitter board. Hardwire connection. How audio is suppose to sound.

OH MY GOD KAREN!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why do you say remember? I still have mine and is in full working order

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I damn well want one. The quality is incredible

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Is it really that distinguishable from a good digital audio system? Enough to care, anyway?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes. Short answer. Those systems have amazing quality. Better, expensive digital would however be better.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That brushed champagne finish, just like the old HK stuff.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Was?.... (insert sad face emoji)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

what is a "stereo"?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A collection of audio equipment allowing one to listen to stereophonic music

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's that thing you keep your phonograph on.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It's what makes music sound great, before the top and low ends got compressed to shit.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a later model of it from the mid-late 90s

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In the early 90's I had a JVC one. Big speakers too. I miss it so much.

My dad had one of those. He was so proud of it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't always listen to Led Zeppelin- but when I do - so do the neighbors

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Still have one like that. Heavy, but going on 42yrs old and it works well. Did add some items to make it Bluetooth and HD radio compatible.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's so attractive to me, that they can be upgraded. Not a lot of systems are capable of that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got one similar and the sound is great, so lets not knock old tech.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They still sound amazing!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

remember when the slower the tape doors opened, the more expensive it was?

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

My dad had a tape deck that would eject the whole mechanism and flip the cassette to change sides, all motorized. It looked amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

omg what kind was it?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Later the trend was when the tape ended it just rolled in the opposite direction. Mechanical miracles

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Auto reverse

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Exactly that's the term

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There was a stereo in the film 9 1/2 weeks that did that, it looked so awesome. Couldnt afford it then but man did i want it.

Then the mini component systems happened.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And they suck.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

when it's about bang for your buck then some (not all) of them don't

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mini component systems were good, for a time. But then they started to make shit systems.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah like those with crazy woofers and bass boosters.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who remembers the first 1000 times this was posted?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

On stereo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not me. I'm new here. Can some explain why reposting is such a bad thing? New people join all the time.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You're new to the Internet?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Haha..no, but I don't go around looking for images. Not everyone has seen every image ever posted.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, but just because YOU haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not a repost.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok. I'm not saying it isn't. All I said was it was new to me so why is a repost such a bad thing? Does this upset you?
