Trump has MAGA brain.

To clarify: Fehlinger is in no way a NATO official, neither does he carryany official position within or appointed by the Austrian government. He is an activist and has founded an organisation called "Austrian Committee for the Enlargement of NATO" - but that is just a name.
Not knocking the sentiment, but this is not a statement of either Austria or NATO.

Offer the US units asylum.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Hot take: they should just eliminate those bases anyway

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Trump would deserve it, but of course the US will be hurt.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Please do a Google search on this man. He's got NOTHING to do with NATO. He doesn't work for them, doesn't get any money from them. But heads an organization that wants Austria to become a part of NATO.
This is misinformation from botfarms that want to poor oil on the fire. NATO is very measured in it's responses. He's not because he's got nothing to do with it.

I’m not sure we want trump to have that many military resources pulled back home… hell just send them south

Shit, he might be counting on that

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is smart diplomacy.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He doesn’t care. Those were there sit watch Russia, Russia owns him.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drump doesn’t recognize a single one of those bases/countries names. Thinks they’re fake news

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just do it already. Hey, America's allies who don't like what Trump's doing? Just sanction us, already. No trade or travel to or from the U.S. Kick us out of our military bases and embassies on your soil.

And even if you're *not* an ally, but you hate what he doing? Sanction us.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you keep turning a blind eye, and let him keep doing business with you, it means you're okay with what he's doing.

BOYCOTT THE U.S.!

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That is what I'm saying for months. If the US attacks NATO the NATO has to seize every base, capture every piece of military equipment and seize military personal on its own territory. And there have to be contingency plans for exactly that.
Talk is unfortunately of commitees discussing in case of such an event. And this is absolutely useless.

I hate to say it, but the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles should be cancelled in protest of American aggression around the world.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

As an LA resident, please do. Supportive of the message but admittedly also self interest cuz this city is gonna be a shitshow

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

A pretty cool thing just happened though, NATO members are now discussing sending troops, aircrafts and ships to Greenland to protect it from the impending Chinese and Russian occupation Trump was talking about... Trump must be thrilled, Europe stepping up and taking care of our own security and protecting Greenland from foreign military invasion... He must be very happy about that and obviously there is no need for US troops either, what a money saver... :P

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Why are there American bases in Greenland anyway. Fucking dismantle them all regardless.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

But Orangeman wants the USA out of NATO, so that Russia can destabilise the EU and make the USA a more powerful trading block again.

2 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Yes, and no NATO membership means no NATO bases, easy pesay

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Think of the savings!

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It will be worse. We will be embargoed. Isolated. China will join with the EU/NATO and the rest of the world. We will end up like Russia.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

This. The Europe and China have generational wealth and 100's (1000's) of years of history. They will find common ground long before the regime in the US. A quiet word from China will put Russia back in it's place. China is moving away from fossil fuels at record pace, Russia and the US are fighting to maintain the last vestiges of a fossill fuel monopoly.
This is not going to end well for a global economy. China's belt and road policy has put a very different spin on everything we're seeing.

By Putin placing Trump in Americas White House, He gets Americans themselves to celebrate and honor this decision.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Putins not the issue. Europe will contain him. China and Xi are the main threats.

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

China has no reason to attack Europe. It's economy is dependant on Europe. They will take Taiwan, definately but they are not Europe's enemy. Russia and usa are our enemies.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

putin is the puppet master that installed the orange turd

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

not really. russia has trouble invading a country that had a fraction of it's equipment and manpower, and they managed to completely clean their arsenal to the point where new recruit have to use recycled weapons/uniforms. They barelly have any tanks lefts and are stuck at using drones and missiles. they have nothing left.

2 months ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

You know what'd make Putin's life a lot easier? The destruction of NATO. You know what the US invading Greenland would do...?

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Putin would love to see the U.S. crumble from within, and it looks like it's happening...

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not true. Attacking, as a rule of thumb, requires 3 to 1 odds. Ukraine's GDP was more than a third of Russia's (Russia is a badly run kleptocracy) - the odds on Russian victory were always iffy. When Putin's assault failed to achieve quick victory and revealed a paper tiger it became much more of grind, problem and about determination. It was never steamroller and snail.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The truth☝️
Like trump, he likes to exude power and wealth but the Russian gangster method of ruling that trump is trying to model is suffering huge issues at the moment. It's imploding from within and is incapable of taking more Ukrainian territory.
As usual, no one hears how desperate they are with the bastard mainstream media who need a culling as bad as the regime
Slava Ukraine!!👊

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep. Fascism, like ebola, is a self-terminating disease. If Russia could have taken Ukraine with numbers and force alone, it would be done already.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No he's definitely laughing his ass off that the stupid pedophile he recruited in the 80s has become the president of the united states, twice, and is burning it to the ground for him.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yeah, the guy managed to destroy the us. He also managed to make it so they are now the number 1 threat against world peace, including against russia. Other than that, the only real threat russia poses against any nato country is a inference one, not a military one

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Putin doesn't care about Ukraine as much as he cares about watching the US drag itself into decline. Distrust and confustion among his adversaries pleases him.

2 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

The EU is the USA's largest trading partner. We export more to them than any other place on earth. We can plan for that to end completely. No travelers from the EU to the USA. No nothing. It will destroy what is left of the US economy. The world cup is so fucked. Any matches planned for the USA need to be moved to Canada or Mexico immediately.

2 months ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that FIFA "Peace" Prize is looking REALLY stupid right about now.

I have black friends that still went to America last month for a holiday. There will be plenty of morons going to the world cup. Maybe 10% who were going will not. Max 10% is my bet. People are fucking awful.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can't "plan" for that to end completely, where will the revenue come from that will be lost? You said it yourself, they're the largest customer and it would tank the EU economy too.

Most realistic scenario is a diplomatic threat to take all US bases in Europe, that will potentially do far more damage to the US strategically than the ressources they might gain from Greenland.

The EU just needs to stop pussyfooting around Trump, bullies like him only respond to strength.

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

We sell them a lot and that is what is going to stop. Do you think 'Muricans are going to stop buying EU stuff just because EU peeps would buy US shit if it was free? Nope. They will still sell plenty to the USA, they just wont be buying anything from us. Better hope Mexico (the next biggest purchaser of US exports) wants to buy more from a bunch of racist Nazis.......um, doesn't look likely does it?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually kinda (depending on if i read his weird mess properly. The US is the EUs largest trading partner, sure, but the US buys nearly double what the EU does.
The agreement made within the EU in regard to tariffs on Denmark over this, mean that the EU as a whole will take the hit as they "rearrange" internal EU trade. The entire "economic hit" Denmark will take is a less than .1% rounding error in practicality... And the US loses access to more goods ($3b in pharma, $3b in nuclear parts)

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Taking Greenland is bad and we shouldn't do that but those are just empty threats, many countries have learned the hard way you dont fuck with our boats and you dont fuck with our bases

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 37

Somebody has no idea about the realities of military capabilities.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those are not empty threads, that would be the only logical consequence.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Many americans have the misguided belief that the US can take on the entire world by itself and win. This is in part due to the fact that the US has never been directly affected by war on their own soil since the founding of the country. The closest was Pearl Harbor, but after that the war happened outside the country. The fact is, the US may have a powerful military, but they cannot stand against the entire world alone.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The US military is extremely dependent on resources coming from outside of the US. Even when looking at basic materials, aluminium, titanium, lithium etc. comes predominantly from NATO countries like Canada. Many other materials like cobalt and tungsten come from farther afield. Europe on the other hand has access to all of these materials locally.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, you're reaching here. US overseas bases are not autonomous. They require massive numbers of local civilian personnel, and significant use of local facilities and services. Not to mention that a lot of US personnel live offbase. Host nations don't HAVE to threaten those bases with military force. They just need to deny those basic things to US bases and those bases will lose the ability to function.

2 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

All im saying is those threats/actions will have consequences

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 13

yes. Trump is making threats, and this post shows the consequences.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh I don't doubt it. But in this particular case, the US doesn't have the leverage to win, if it came to that. Interestingly, I read something today (can't find the sauce now, and it wasn't in a reliable source) that said Turnip had asked his generals for plans to invade Greenland, and they'd balked, telling him it would be illegal. If true, it might signal someone in Washington is growing a spine.

Alright folks that have dealt with a narcissist before. How does a narcissist react to you drawing a boundary?

They escalate.

Always!

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They throw a MASSIVE tantrum, and will try everything they can to get you to back down.

TACO

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Of the many reactions yes that is a VERY common one.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

He always ends up backing down when the other party pushes back. Thats why to me there are so many red flags with Venezuela. They got maduro AND his wife that easily with no casualties on our side? He gave himself up and our allies were really not pushing back against it that much. Greenland on the other hand? They're gonna push back enough for him to bitch out.

They ignore it. They blame you for the consequences they endure for ignoring it. Then they attack you and try to get other to attack you.

2 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Yes! Gaslighting, displacement, silent treatment used as a punishment, triangulation and a smear campaign in a pear tree. Very common reactions.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

But babe, you LOVE being gaslit.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What does "triangulation" mean in this context?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When they bring a third party, person, entity into the argument on on their side. "Well your brother also thinks you're an asshole." Whether your brother does or not is immaterial. It's just for them to gain an advantage of numbers and to distract you from their abuse. Another example is the meme below.
