There's no laws here in the US on that. Most mothers that I have met started going into labor while at work actually.

2/2 is called risky by a Doctor the whole pregnancy is Mutterschutz. No work allowed. Fully paid. Not allowed to be fired by law

In the Netherlands it's 16 weeks 4-6 weeks before due dat rest after. Heavy/dangerous work means providing work that isn't that. 1
