This was me. Around 260lbs (to be honest I'm not really sure, I never wanted to weigh myself) I was in a deep depression, on the fast track to diabetes, and thinking life couldn't ever get better. All I ever did was work and sit at home on the couch watching TV.

These are the only few photos I had of myself because I hated getting my picture taken. I was always a big girl. I never thought I'd actually be able to lose weight. I took a long look at my life and desperately needed a change. I started small. Cut soda from my diet. Stopped eating late at night. The snacking and sweets were the hardest part to quit.

Took me over a year but I lost over 100lbs I had started going on walks on trails and it quickly became my favorite thing to do. That with the diet and smaller food portions kick started my metabolism for the first time in my life.

Growing up as an overweight girl my self-esteem was always low. It took a long time to build up my confidence. I started doing things I'd never dreamt of doing on my own. Traveling, going out, meeting new people. As an introvert that took some getting used to.

I never wanted to lose weight to look better. I needed to feel better. Psychically. Mentally it's still a challenge because after all of this I still have that big girl mentality. I still have alot of work to do. My stomach will never be flat and I have alot of loose skin that's not attractive but it's an everyday reminder that I can't give up. I go to the gym at least 5 days a week for an hour and as long as the weather permits I go on walking trails.

It's a daily struggle to keep the weight off and I've had set backs this year. Most of us have. Sorry for this selfie I took today. Downvote me if you want. Fake internet points are not important to me. I'm nervous about posting this and what people will say. As long as one person sees this and is motivated to make a change for the better in their life, I'm glad I put this out there. If I could do it anyone can!

If you've made it this far, sorry for the long post. Here's a cat tax of my favorite ginger! Stay safe everyone!

Awesome transformation! You rock!

Lost all that weight, and kept the tits. Medical science should study you for the next decade to give all women hope, lol.

Wayne's World salute Scha-wing! In all seriousness though, mighty fine work lady. I've always been fighting skinny man syndrome.

No need to hate on yourself if you want to make changes to feel better, & no shame in “failed attempts”, because sucking at something is >

As someone who's lost 130lbs, my boobs deflated into saggy water balloons. Crazy that yours are still huge!

AMAZING can tell you lift. How much do you squat?
