2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wholesome indeed, thanks!

Goodluck on the game, man. I released my first game to steam on the 3rd. It's a fucking lot, and the odds are completely against you. But like, you wouldn't be happy if you never tried, right?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Oh, thank you! Yeah, it's hard and a grind, but I love it when people do actually play my game. I found this streamer with 12 viewers that was having a blast.

#9 Pit Etiquette is a thing, as demonstrated rather effectively here.

2 years ago | Likes 218 Dislikes 1

I went to see the Damned a few weeks ago. I haven't seen them in concert since the 80s. Handed my friend my glasses and dived into the pit. She thought I was nuts. It was a blast and everyone in there was keeping an eye out for each other. I miss that.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The fastest I have ever seen somebody move is on their way back up on their feet after falling while in a pit, being yanked up by an assortment of metalheads.

If someone wants in. Let them in.
If someone falls. Pick them up.
If someone wants out. Let them out.

Just to add, I had the chance to attend Rock am Ring in Germany and see Slip Knot. The rules transcend language. Most metal heads are good folks.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yup. These were the rules some gray-haired headbanger taught me when I went to my first show at 14. I had run in and gotten immediately knocked to the ground (just an accident) and he pulled me out got me back onto my feet, "Kid, you gotta know the rules before you try and dive in."

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Fail to abide by those rules and you -will- be punished... and, if you're lucky, you'll be able to remember it the next day.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

got to 15 and was like "well game dev is brutal" then saw it's a pitch for your own game, rock on. Keep up the work.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

It is but also kinda fun. Thank you for the nice words : )

yea, my friend is in that boat. He tells me how it's basically seasonal work for many AAA studios, once the game is done you don't know if you still have a job. He liked indie devs, he got paid the most and it was more fun, but it was a gamble if the game got released or not and if it doesn't then you have nothing to show on your resume.

#11 Kindness is the default, hate takes energy and I'm too tired for that.

2 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Gordon Ramsay's such a study of contrasts. He's made his public persona of absolutely ripping into people on TV, but as soon as he's dealing with kids or people just starting out, he's kind and generous.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you pick up the joke at the beginning? I'm not sure I follow.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same I would like to know!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

“Do you know how to turn this lightbulb on? If you get what I mean…” I think that’s what I heard and I have no clue what it means.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I suspect there was more before the start of the clip.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But obviously it was funny enough to get the other man’s spirit up!

Happiest dump in a long time!

#6 of course he wasn’t held against his will on the turntable… he’s riding a bloomin’ turntable for goodness sake!

#1 My children are furry and have too many legs, but they are strong and I love them.

2 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 3

Bet the person making the video put them in, ain't no damn way a parrot put a litter of kittens the same size as him up into a hollow tree.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, why does it nave nails sticking out...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm guessing parrot is totally a pet, but in my mind, I'd like to imagine it's one of those "animals take their problems to humans" scenarios. Like, random parrot flying around you, trying to get your attention..... By "mew-ing"? Parrots don't normally "mew".... Then flying between your and "his regular hangout spot". Where he hops & bobs & "mew"s & pecks on his post.

"Human? Please remove these flufs. They are soft, but loud and rambunctious. I can't get any rest!"

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Can't imagine a wild bird would let a human casually approach for any reason. Especially if there was a nest to defend. And those kittens are open eyed so they're being fed. There's definitely human intervention going on here in some capacity

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Disney Princess?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not quite. More like the "human are the fairy world to the animal kingdom" lore.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How did they get in there and how are they going to get out...

2 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Bird brought them in. This is the end for the kittens. There is no happy ending....there is no God....

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I need to know how that ended, I hope those kitties found a safe home

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I'm sure the answer for every question here is: Human

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

...where did they come from, Cotton Eye Joe

2 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

TL;DR: parrot was a semi-wild rescue, rescuer noticed that she wanted to go in the tree all the time. He checked it out and found a litter of kittens. He tried to reintroduce the kittens the the neighbours cat, who seemed to be the mother, but she rejected them. So: he rescued the kittens, raised them together with his own cat and parrot, and gave them a home. Happy ending for all.

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

And how are they going to get fed...

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

#7 their faces don't really display fun...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

It is REALLY HARD to remember to smile when you're dancing tbh. I was always told to smile more growing up as a dancer lol. I loved dancing; my face just didn't communicate that very well!

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Just looks like they're concentrating, they don't look miserable
