Having seen this in Asian (generalized) cultures, I just dont get it. Maybe its the type of food, rarity, but they always "storm" like this.

From my experience traveling in Asia, I have only ever seen Chinese tourists refuse to form lines. Japanese would be ashamed to NOT line up.

I believe even in Asia Chinese are generally seen as rude. Might just be in Japan though. Different cultures...

True, Koreans are I think, a mixture of the two. I've seen lines in one area, the go else where where its just a gaglefuck.
