Fuck me, i couldn't even get my family to tell me my older sister was dying of cancer. let alone include me on the trip to go see her.

I like to think that the camera man is some rando that crashed the party.

Is that the Vengabus?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What an obnoxious piece of shit vehicle. Ok, a bus but does it need the siren or those fucking strobing lights. I guess just screw everyone around youe

The Offspring also had a party bus. https://youtu.be/0eJZo1Hs8yk

All aboard the fucking seizure-mobile

I know my family loves me. But they never did anything like that to/for me.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Half of me would hate this and half of me wants this family to adopt me.

Better than the deep south where your family shows up in the bangbus

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gotta be like 150db in that bus!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s so awesome to have a family that does stuff like that!!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That one poor introvert sitting there all alone in the maelstrom.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Chris Pontius should have been there.

This would be so illegal in Belgium...stupid little country with to many rules. Bleh...

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sounds like a great place to live. I have no humor when it comes to traffic.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I guess you are right, there are already to many roadclowns out there. Don't need a clown car blinding/or distracting with that...

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Epic!

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

Good on this fam. Hope she's happy with the reception.
But....After a flight of any duration, I would absolutely fkn hate this!

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's... road legal? In a country?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

They are all over Panama City and super fun till after 11pm on weekdays. Then you start to hate them.

my family always treated picking someone up from the airport as a major inconvenience, and would wait until my plane had landed, before they brought the car around.

Just once in my life, I'd like to have someone so excited to see me get off a plane, that they show up early, park the car, and wait outside the gate for me.

I recently learnt that this predominantly an American thing, because picking someone up from the airport *is* an inconvenience. Here the airport is 20 minutes drive from the city center (or 30 minutes and aroudn 3 euros on public transport), the parking lot is a couple of minutes from the arrivals terminal, and you can just pull up outside when people arrive without hassle.

...apparently this is often very much not the case in the US?

Some things that might seem awful aren't when you do it for someone you love. What I'm saying is: Let her peg you.

¡WEPA!

On board for everything except for the siren

Replace the siren with the proper music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zbi0XmGtMw

Agreed.

Is the siren on the bus?! How the fuck is that legal? (I thought it was just an emergency vehicle out of shot?)

2 years ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 1

All those blinking lights wouldnt be legal here either

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

'Legal' is a real loose term in many places on this earth.

If somebody did this at SeaTac I would want to murder them

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

I’d probably be there to back you up. Especially if they did this on the curve at SeaTac

It's such a shitfest of an airport to drive into. Not nearly enough space for the roads leading up to it or the pick up locations. It seems like by night time there is always about a 30 minute wait time just to get in while the congestion passes.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

A-fucking-men, especially with the Angry Loading Voice Guy and cops shouting at me to move when I haven't even parked

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Meh. It's like a few minute inconvenience so some people can have a good time. Pull around it and you'll be just fine.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

I'm going to try and not get violently angry at that reply

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 10

If that makes you feel better, go for it.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

People downvoting you don't understand how fucking stupid the entrance to the arrivals/departures/parking and how backed up traffic gets and how small the pickup area is there. For an international airport, the roads leading to it are a complete embarrassment with god awful signage. It sorely needs to be reworked.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I was recently on a flight. I understand the issue. You can easily pull around based on where the bus is.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's probably been at least a couple decades since I've been through SeaTac, but I remember absolutely hating it even back then.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's absolute insanity. I think the line of thinking is let's just build another airport instead of fixing the current one. That is not going so well. The Link light rail service from the airport to Tacoma is getting closer to completion, but the website says 2034 😐

That's what I want to see after a 14 hour flight!

2 years ago | Likes 423 Dislikes 3

That’s what I loathe to see before a 14-hour flight.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

It's likely a trip from the US so much shorter

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

And much more to celebrate

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not to be pedantic, but if this is Puerto Rico (which I lean toward, 'cuz of the emoji), they're still IN the US.

Sorry -- I'm Puerto Rican & after TFG & his ilk treating Puerto Ricans like "illegals" & refusing to acknowledge their citizenship, I'm a tad touchy on this subject! PR suffers a catastrophic hurricane and they get .... paper towels. But Texas gets hit with a hurricane shortly thereafter & they get real, immediate, tangible aid? GTFO with that bullshit. (Yeah, I'm still bitter.)
