For whatever reason my post was deleted for copyright issues and now it's randomly back...

Sorry to be this guy but this habit is pretty much useless energy consumption

When I was a kid I used to sit next to the dryer on dark winters evenings. To this day the sound of a dryer still soothes me.

Ye I did this too.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to do this for my boys when they were little. Used to wrap them up burrito style. One of my favorite memories.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to do this for my kids when they were younger. I would also do it with their bath towels.

When my daughter was little, Mr Pickles and Blanket had to go in the dryer separately because they didn't like each other.

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Relatable. Sometimes I will not get in an elevator with someone I dislike. I take the stairs.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you say it "yee" or like yes without the s? my brain says yee

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeh

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I say it just like that. Think if it was soft Y hard E. yE

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My mom called these "dryer hugs."

I have a purple blanket that a friend and I have a good natured feud over and I toss it in the dryer before I don it just to rub it in.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Totally unrealistic bedtime expectations....

Thank you! Can't believe I had to scroll so far to find this...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Adorable, but I can't sleep with a warm blanket, has to be at least 5 degrees colder then everything else

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aaaw, that's adorable!

While this is adorable, I'm super envious as I am awake at 5am with a toddler who won't go the FUCK back to sleep.

All I got from my parents was neglect.

Yeah, dude. I’m 43. Chose not to have children when I was a teenager.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

All I got was childhood trauma and a t-shirt

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Relatable. . .

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How long does one set the timer for? Asking for my kid.

4 years ago | Likes 282 Dislikes 0

?

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Glad you clarified, I was starting to think you were some kind of disgusting weirdo that liked WARM blankets

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Generally, kids can't survive in the dryer longer than a couple minutes.

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

90 minutes on max if it has metal zippers. Oh wait, do you like the kid? My answer is different if you like them.

2-3 minutes on low heat is pretty nice. all depending on the type of blanket itself

4 years ago | Likes 245 Dislikes 0

For God sakes don’t you throw wool in there!!

4 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 0

L.L. Bean sells some lovely (but not cheap) washable wool blankets.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Or do it

4 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Not a handknitted, but you can throw wool in, if it's felted already.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I do 8-10 on med myself. Really warm bordering hot and Ota of little static sparks but that's part of the fun. 35 year old kid here.

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

ahhh, so you go for both the warmth and the super power of shock

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Absolutely! Seeing all the small sparks in the darkness of the room like little exploding stars is just the bestest.

Like Kanye without the Kan

I think of it as yeah but no ah. yE

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Isn't like a "yes" without the S?

Ye, pretty much

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I find it funny I understood the exact tone of voice despite it being text.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Same! Have done it since the first time I saw this!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This comic is the reason I started saying 'ye' in general xD

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

....its a text comic....what voice?

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Hi, my name is Morgan Freeman, just thought I'd let you know, you read that in my voice.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You mean you can’t hear it?

4 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

I said it aloud every time so I know exactly what it sounds like

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Honestly one of my favourite little comics. It’s so fucking adorable.

4 years ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 0

That's why I brought it back around. Been a while since I've seen anyone post it and it makes me smile

One time I was doing laundry and I pulled my son's blanket out of the dryer. He'd been in just a diaper all morning and I suddenly realized>

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

how chilly it actually was in the house. I went up behind where he was sitting on the floor watching cartoons, and wrapped the warm blanket>

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

around him. I could see him just melt into it.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I remember when my mom first did that for me. Good memories.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*sobs uncontrollably* mine are going off to college Friday and I will officially be an empty nester. I’m too young! I can’t do this!

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oh this baby is now 21 and moved out last year. I still have 2 at home though.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Warm blankets on a cold day are the best

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it was one of the first cooler days at the end of summer, and I'd taken off his jammies but not put on other clothes after breakfast.

ER RN here. People consistently tell me the best part of the visit is a nice warm blanket. They’re shocked when I suggest using their dryer

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Cute and all until we realize this is the commodities that are killing the planet

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 79

Okay you guys I've got my Blanket? MORE LIKE STANK SHIT! sign. Where is the protest going down

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, multi billion dollar corporations and the governments they own are damaging our environments.

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If the blanket was fleece, it’d be somewhat true. That microplastic ends up to ocean and inside the animals

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, the destroyer of worlds, the forbidden artifact known as blankets

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

*dryers

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 28

It's a spinny-heaty thing that's rarely used. If you think thats a problem your head's going to explode when you learn about the other stuff

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Unless you mean Children, in which case yes, I agree, no notes

4 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

100 companies produce 71% of all carbon emissions, but yeah, ordinary folks with dryers are the problem.

4 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

I mean... Buyers tell corporations are too blame. Corporations say same about buyers. What if one takes responsibility of his own actions?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

youre right. let me just tidy up my 0.0001% contribution to this issue, i cant believe i didnt do this sooner, fixing the planet is so easy

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Duh! Now multiply that by just 1% of world population and you'll understand. But of course if your vision finish at your front door... Well.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a dryer mate... blame your utility co for not investing in nuclear or solar or hydro.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or don't usar it at all. Ok, not so radical: do not use it unless necessary!!!!!! Hint: coziness does not count. That's the whole point

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait till someone tells him about fossil fuels and plastics.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know about bikers burning gas just for fun, jeep clubs doing the same, grandpa's cruising just because

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But did you know those people make up not even a percentage of total emissions and pollution compared to the corporations?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. But what if... And hear me out... What if they kill the industry?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
