I got a bird, help me.
This little guy got shot by a firework from the looks of it. He has a huge burn on his back and can't fly. I found him unconscious outside my front door. I don't know jack shit about birds, other than this one's a Blue Jay, and he's very sleepy.

Well halfway there, turn on the oven to 350 degrees and season that bird to your liking

Keep him in a quiet, dark place until you can get him to an animal rescue place.

Either snap it's neck so it dies quickly, leave him in agony and hope he recovers or c) go to a vet and do the right thing and pay if needed

Just Google the nearest one and there's gonna be an emergency number, call that.. but honey that bird won't make it alive til the morning
