Fallout 4 - Extremely Creepy Story

First off, I apologise if this isn't the most detailed story. It's really freaking me out - and I can't find anything on Google regarding it. I've screen-shotted here and there, mostly just to show what the fuck is going on!

Ok, I'll try and make this quick so I can report this.

This is my character in the game, 'her' name is Rebecca (personal reasons). And the reason I'm telling you this will be apparent later on...

Very recently I lost my absolute favourite gun in the game: the 'Overseers Guardian'. That gun, as I'm sure many of you know, is an absolutely OP gun. It wrecks *everything*.

I've been using it for the past 70-80 levels (I'm level 151) so you can imagine how pissed I am that one of Bethesdas (usually minor) bugs have caused me to lose my fucking gun.

Fortunately I still have this one.

Now, anyways, I was out exploring and sniping some ghouls up near the top of the map. An 'emergency radio' call brought me there, so I thought "sure, no problem, I can scope some ghouls and then pass the time with another side quest".

I kill them off with ease, and go around like the hoarder I am, and take everything they had.

Now this is when things get fucked up. I mean seriously, if this has happened to anyone else **please** tell me.

I approach one of the ghouls....

Yep, that's my fucking gun. Did I rename it that? Did I fuck.

Now, I mean, I like mysterious creepiness in video games. Especially in Fallout; but this?
This is fucked up.

There it is, exactly the same apart from the weird as shit name change.

And just to keep up with this new theme, the radio signal no longer exists.

At this point in torn between "do I report this, post it here (on imgur) or switch off my console completely?'

But alas, here we are. So I head back to my Starlight settlement to ditch all my stuff and try to regroup a bit.

But oh-fucking-no, that's not happening. Because all my caged Deathclaws have been bloody released. Fortunately I have that 'beta wave' thing on so they aren't interested.

I'm getting pretty reasonably panicked just now. Sure it's just a game, but when Google doesn't know what the fuck you're talking about then somethings definitely not a normal.

I run around the settlement checking for anything unusual. Making sure all my stuff is still there, all my robots are fine etc.

All Clear.

Then I head round back, up where the staircase is. ????

I'm not sure if you can see that from here. As I said, I took what pictures I could given the circumstances.

Either way, there's a silver box up ahead. And yet a-fucking-gain it wasn't my doing.

So naturally, I head up to it, my finger just waiting on the 'trigger' to own whoever the frock is doing this.

...

This. This right here.
I seriously have no idea what to make of any of this.

I've tried *everywhere* for any insight as to what this means.

If I had searched this, and it turned out to be an alien Easter egg or something, then it'd be pretty cool.

Nothing. Not even anyone with the same question.

And you know what? I opened it. I took it.

I do not recommend scrolling any further if you're either at work, or don't like mature/sketchy images.

I'm just about to report this; once I publish this I'm off.
