#34 You dirty bastard!! Have your upvote!!

#4 How can you talk for 45 min about Skyrim's "plotline"? It's "you're the chosen one who stops a doomsday prophecy". Do you perhaps mean Elder Scrolls lore? If so, how can you talk only 45 min about that?!
TheCryptid
#41 Minecraft, skyrim and fallout 4 MID GAMES? Jesus christ
CalculatorFunTime58008
#38 I've said for many years that if there is a god that created us, we're an ant farm that dropped behind his dresser that he forgot about
Scruffy2
#15 those are both edge pieces though

#4 I was trying to show her how Civilization 6 worked and she started touching my dick. Sid Meier is responsible for at least one virginity loss
Jaqdakloun
Solid dump

#15 The irony is, they could have made it a little less suggestive by connecting them the way edge pieces are supposed to be connected.
RubberMonkeys
Fuck! I lost The Game.
TheCryptid
#4 if she sat through a 45min explanation of skyrim, chances are her mind was already made up about the sex and she was pushing through to get there
Emjayen
He's also clearly attractive.

You still have to churn the milk after milking the nut to get butter.
SterlingArcherSecretAgent
That's the best part!

#7 well, zodiac signs are based on constellations and as far as I know, dinosaur isnt a constellation.
That aside, yep astrology is bullshit
SonnyVabitch
Taurus rhymes with saurus, fwiw.
ScienceFaction
#1 you still have to churn it though

#4 propose right there.

If you’re hot, drink a hot drink. If you’re cold, drink a cold drink. I learned this in MN without any explanation.
snarkybitch
Does it work?
DanielleHL
It actually does!

#20 ….and there‘s the reason women prefer the bear.
AshesVonDust
Yeah, that was upsetting
Vortexhelios320
Every time I think I'm starting to get a hold on my self-image/esteem, some "alpha" douche-nozzle comes in and says something that makes me think maybe we men ARE all just closeted pieces of shit... That maybe even the 'good' ones are just monsters who haven't found their trigger yet.
I'm so lost. And I can't even call out for help outside a semi-anonymous channel because the one way I know I could make it worse is to make it "all about me".
snarkybitch
Unless you had the same thought as him theres no reason to doubt yourself.
Vortexhelios320
I appreciate the thought, but after all the horror stories I've heard, I have almost nothing BUT reasons to doubt myself.
I've already been stuck wearing a 'mask' for so long that I'm not even sure if I exist as a person underneath it. So who am I to say that there isn't something else lying in wait under there. And what possible value can a person have, sight unseen?
Scattercat
What's that semi-satirical law that says "Every online discussion of feminism inevitably demonstrates the continued need for feminism"?
bittenicht39
Hoff Sommers‘ law, named after Christina Hoff Sommers.
Scattercat
Ironic if true.

Downvoted for #31. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy teaches you to examine your thoughts as they occur so that you don't fly off with the first reactionary shit that pops into your mind (whether that's a thought of self-harm, violence, or whatever other intrusive thoughts you have). Characterizing it as "self-gaslighting" is not just wrong, it's an attitude that is actively harmful. CBT is a proven therapy that helps many.
GenStrike
Say you feel like the biggest piece of shit imaginable. Okay. Great. Do you *really* believe that? Maybe take a second to examine that.
crasemana
It’s a joke. Not medical advice.
GenStrike
I had a friend turn down therapy because of this specific attitude. Because somebody told him that "CBT is self-gaslighting". "Jokes" like this one absolutely can and do cause harm.
GenStrike
"Just a joke bruh"
Jokes influence the way people understand the world. They normalize certain viewpoints and denigrate others. Jokes absolutely can do harm.
It IS medical advice. It tells its readers "CBT is not worthwhile". Being a "joke" doesn't change that.
GenStrike
It's about as intelligent as making a "joke" about women being bad drivers.
