Give me a week gift receiver, gotta work up the dough. ????

Yeah if you get china, use alibaba. It was about 18 bucks Canadian for me, whereas shipping was >100 for the same game.

Is there not a way to dropship the gift directly, or have a delivery service get it for you? Then mail the card separately.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Use a british VPN and buy from uk stores, Betternet VPN on the google app store lets you select UK.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1 for not saying fuck that and still going through with it

9 years ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 3

Search around a bit for other shipping options. I can't speak for the U.K. but in Japan sometimes you can send things by boat for 1/4 the...

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

...price of air shipping. It will just take a month or so to arrive. Better late than breaking the bank?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yup. Buying stuff online and getting it shipped to the UK is a colossal pain in the arse.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And if it's over $35 dollars, I usually won't bother, as it then attracts import duties that adds even more.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Same here, need to ship to USA tho its only half what you have to pay, still gunna deliver :D

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

lmfao duuuuuude hahahaha that gif is perfect. But seriously, way to be a good dude and go through with it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not sure if it's an option for you but you can order from amazon UK

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

True. I wanted to try to send American foods and gifts. You know twinkies and stuff :-p and a postcard from Nebraska.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ship it USPS, it's a little cheaper!!! That's what I have to do for my Australia SS. It's about $34 for a smallish box....Still not cheap.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

YAS!!! In the same boat BUT i found a company that'll do up to 5kg for £36 so whoever my secret santa is, expect a box of pure scottish air

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Actually not in the same boat at all because i misread your title so yeah......

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What the hell are you sending?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I guestimated about 5lbs.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

please be sugar free gummy bears

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

lol I wouldn't wish that hell upon anyone.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh dang, I have an international one too. Where are you shipping from? I'm working on the gift now.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I found that USPS does flat rate packages for 24$ and up. If you're in the US, go with them! UPS was the only one I found that was $100+

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How much is US$113 in real money? Like £24 and a few pence?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Give or take 89£

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As you appear to be unfamiliar with sarcasm I will now close the cash register.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A little over a hundred pounds

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

A little under now

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ship a lb per box. That's the cheapest and easiest way. Cost me 60$ to shop three lbs and it was just pop tarts last year :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sent mine from Finland to US and the shipping was more expensive than the content. :( But still--totally worth it...

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Haha, same here! Just came back from Posti, I had as much shipping as the whole thing cost ^^

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@tinycupcakes I'm doing the exact opposite and I'm afraid of how much it's coming to come out to!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You're from Finland?? Could I ask you a couple questions? I'm from the US and Secret Santa-ing someone in Finland. Could I PM you?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sure, you can ask me anything :) might not be able to help, but I'll try

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know the feels, but so be it, i volunteered.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

How do I sign up this year? I can't find anything :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Keep an eye out for the "not revived" posts. They always look for backup gift gives to make up for shitty people. This is my first year.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sad about missing Secret Santa? http://iob.imgur.com/uYGg/uOD8XMigLy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a post on #secretsanta here that someone is setting up a swap for peeps like you ...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's too late now, but you could always message someone else who's commenting that they would like to participate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where is it? Link or username would be fantastic

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've done it the last two years when I was next to homeless and was excited to do it with extra $$ this year.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I didn't even think about shipping when I ok'd it. I didn't have much to spend in the first place! Postage was 1/4 of the cost of the thing!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This year's Secret Santa is gonna be a clusterfuck in so many ways.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Your secret Santa will probs have to pay on this side to get it out of customs

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

USPS has some cheaper shipping options. If you send it first class international under 4 lbs it should be under $30.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I ship a lot, if you need any help lemme know. Happy holidays and you're a goodie for still doing it!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well from Germany to USA it's 16€ for 2kg via DHL. I hope you'll find another offer in that range with some research :)

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I paid $35USD to ship a 3lb box from Seattle to Germany via the postal system. Maybe I should have checked DHL!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can get it cheaper with Großbrief International. Ca. 8 Euro including insurance and up to 2 kg.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wo kauf ich denn das? Bei der Post? Danke

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ja, bei der Post. Ohne Versicherung ist es noch billiger, aber ohne Sendungsnummer. Hab mein Geschenk letztes Jahr so in die USA geschickt.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I told you a 200lb jar of sperm is going to be expensive to mail, not matter where you send it.

9 years ago | Likes 243 Dislikes 2

I'm a lady :-/

9 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 7

Have you tried the USPS? They have better international rates for the most part...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The rates I was quoting were UPS I'll look into USPS. I feel silly I had assumed that United States ps only delivered within US lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you don't ship internationally, you wouldn't know. That's why you help people out! Should be at least half that. Good luck!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Georgia, USA to Vantaa, Finland was $90 for 17 lbs. I feel like a lazy ass for not wrapping anything, but it was all coordinated from work

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Expensive and really rough on your jaw then

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Her forearms could be huge

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn, you must have been harvesting that bro for months now.

9 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Time and patience my friend.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

And hydration.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can try to purchase something from the UK version of Amazon. That's what I do when I get an international match ;)

9 years ago | Likes 412 Dislikes 0

thats what I did.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Great idea.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you- I read this then looked up shipping costs(Japan to USA). It would have cost me over $100 to send stuffs :/ American Prime FTW!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also what I did.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I ordered from etsy in their country and spent $3 on shpping vs $33. Just had it sent straight to them but no wrapping. Oh well.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Hindsight is 20/20. I could just eat the garbage I bought and regift the gifts lol. I wanted to send American snacks & a Nebraska postcard!

9 years ago | Likes 111 Dislikes 0

You sending via USPS? Priority via OH to UK is costing me $34 for a small box

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This! Make sure to declare it as a gift (very important). Medium box is 66. On custom form don't write the value unless youll get insurance.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hello fellow Nebraskan! I also am doing international but mine is i. Canada

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You guys are awesome!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nebraska postcard? So chimney rock, random sunset, or memorial stadium?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a nebraskan, the biggest joke is the welcome sign here "the good life"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love Nebraska :-)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too! I always thought "The Good Life" was rather fitting.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sending my international a jar of nebraska air for a joke :D

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try breaking it up into several smaller packages. Often packages over a certain weight (from the UK to US it's 2kg / 4.4lbs) go with a 1/..

9 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

different carrier, and it's way more expensive. Sending 2 small packages costs 1/3rd as much as 1 heavy one.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Perfect! I estimated my weight at 5lbs that's probably my issue

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Hopefully so. When I send a 2kg parcel, it costs about £65 (!), but 1kg parcels are only £17 or so. I'm always damn careful to weigh them

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Shipping expert here, PM me so I can help you get it over there for WAY LESS

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Commenting for when I'm not on mobile and can PM- gotta get a package to Germany from New York, hopefully cheaply!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You da best will do when I'm at a desktop. Kinda behind the times on figuring out mobile.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

As a brit who has now married an American, that's a friggin awesome gift. American snacks are super different to ours and all awesome!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's cuz there are no PMs on mobile bro

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There is on beta!
