My son and I discussed just this last night. We agreed that though our dog is crazy and a handful, we'd kill anyone who hurt him. Period.

You can steal my car, you can destroy my house, you can hit me, but man you CAN'T touch my dog.

TIL John Wick and his ghost dog have Spanish accents.

"And don't forget their friends and family John, especially the children..."

Ah, John Wick. The most vengeful of dog owners. A man after my own heart.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What if John Wick died instead of the dog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGpZ9xaQLYQ

My wife refused to watch it after I explained the premise to her. Although she's in full support of his motives and the degree of response.

9 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 3

My bf is sad I won't watch it because of the dog death, hell, my biggest cry in GoT was her banishing Nymeria

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My girlfriend can't watch movies where the dog dies, except for John Wick. Thanks to the roaring rampage of revenge.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That was a fully housetrained puppy. He didnt go far enough.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Just have her stay in the other room until he buries the dog, also no doggy death in the second movie

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The puppy dying wasn't even the saddest part it was how it crawled over to him before dying

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Huh, I always assumed they put the dog in front of him before they left to be super assholes. Does explain the blood trail leading to him.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoever did the new one deserves an Oscar for the most realistic, cringe-inducing sound effects.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

That chase through the catacombs was loud as fuck.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The theater I went to had the volume at almost ear-shattering levels, so wren they got to the catacombs, it was ridiculous.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you mean the squooshy sound of wrists being slit? Because that made me gag a little.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Not specifically, no. I was referring more to the breaking of bones and necks and various crunching sounds that made it so damn real feeling

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Or several car vs. people impacts

"With a f*cking pencil"

Piencseal. A fucking pienseal

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man that accent didn't work for me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I went and watched it, the audience audibly moaned in discomfort when THAT scene happened.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same in our theater. Place was packed and when that scene happened everyone moaned.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh, God... I haven't seen it yet. I wanted to see it in the theater, buuuutttt I may wait now...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you get a good audience alongside you, EVERYONE will be visibly and audibly cringing (and laughing) togeher throughout hte film. Do it.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

¿What's up with the upside down exclamation points?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see what you did with the question mark tho, wondering why no body pointed the lack of it on the comic

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My fave is still Tony Jaa breaking/dislocating like 100 limbs because they stole his Elephant...

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The Protector is a great movie. That one dude at the start got every joint in his arm and leg destroyed. It was fantastic.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And that one cut scene! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79ditPebZ8g Incredible choreography throughout!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was all done in one take, believe it or not. The special features of the movie tell how the cameraman trained for 6 months to do that.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, poor phrasing on my part-- meant to say "one take" or "single cut" and fat-fingered out "one cut"
