Supermarket bread lasts forever...it just lacks nutritious value.
wholesomehousewife

You calling me old!!! Well, ok. Kinda...
forty0z
you can freeze bread
gregariouslouganis
All bread freezes and thaws well. Tortillas, bread, naan. Also put it in the fridge to let it last longer. ;)
Intrspace
Frozen bread tastes like ass. Rye bread at least. People don't really eat wheat bread here.
forty0z
Eh, I understand some people prefer fresh bread. I always toast mine so it tastes the same regardless.
CaptainWolfsburg
Until the power grid fails.
Neptuneflyer
This is a virus not an earthquake, there is no reason for the power grid to fail.
Jazzcabage
I find it unlikely that such essentials will be shut down. It would have to be an absolute apocalypse
rookOne
No, just an average disaster (Sandy)
Jazzcabage
Yea but that caused damage to infrastructure and had people leaving their home towns for safety
Rikkytikky
You can flush toilet paper until water is gone ?
CaptainWolfsburg
Ah, I see. Basic utilities like electricity never go out during crisis situations. How stupid of me.
Bignholy
FFS, this isn't an meltdown or anything, and they're not bedridden. It's going to suck and I respect them for it, but vital jobs carry on.

Jokes on them, our household keeps keto. Almond flour and monk fruit still seem to be in good supply. We made some amazing soda bread.
