Florida is in a state of emergency, thanks to this giant asshole in the Atlantic. You've probably heard about her.

If you live around Orlando or souther-est, if you don't have a plan fucking make one. Start evacuation as early as you can, don't wait. Already stores in my area are out of water and gasoline.

Current projections are having it run straight up Florida's coasts, or just taking the whole shaft on at once.

Estimated damage for my area is in the billions, thousands in human casualties. Storm surge around 20 feet.

My company is waiting for my county to declare a state of emergency, then I'll be stationed at a hurricane shelter until it's over.

If you stay, know that Emergency Services stop when wind hits sustained 45mph. Irma has been recorded at over 4 times that.
