I always found dreamcatchers hanging from the rearview mirror odd; You're not sleeping in the front seat, are you? And if you are, do you need help? A place to stay? Warm meal? I'm willing to help.
Traditionally karma is something you build up over the course of your life and it didn't affect you until after you died, at which point it determines your reincarnation. The John Lennon, pop culture "instant karma" is more like schadenfreude or, as you say, something like a curse.
About 25 seconds into the video, small text shows up at the top, saying the driver had rear ended them before flipping them off and running the red light.
I think they meant the pickup truck driver, who now has to deal with getting their car repaired and potential mental anguish of having injured or killed someone.
I just can't let myself feel good about screwing somebody else over. There have been moments of selfishness in my life growing up where somebody was directly negatively affected by my actions. But I've never felt good getting away with it.
actually just went there today. i don't really eat indian food (so i don't know what to compare it to) but it was pretty good overall. thanks for the recommendation.
Static to the window frame, doesn't cover the entire window (which is probably illegal, I think you're not allowed to tint the driver's window nor the entire windshield dark), but more than needed if it was just to censor the face. A filter from a phone would have some unsynchronized jiggle. That they ran from even the ambulance; bitch got priors.
I figure it's either this, or they are too fucking cheap to get a real tint, applied some plastic film tint themselves, and it wrinkled and looks blurry because it is shrinking due to it being a billion degrees in Tempe, Arizona. Either way, it does the job, i guess.
Oh, my "fees" are just fine. I just think trogs like you are fucking stupid. Either your ego needs the pumping up from correcting randos on the Internet for minor shit, you're a professional troll and can only feel things by harassing others, or you are yourself a "sovereign citizen" and had your feelings hurt by my original comment. Regardless of why, Get Bent. You're pathetic.
People downvoting this don't understand the concept of delta V I guess? The truck barely slows from the impact. From the occupants' perspective the jerk they experience will be relatively minimal, no worse than slamming on the brakes. The only way they'd be injured is if they subsequently lost control and slammed into something that brought them to a more abrupt stop.
I caught something similar to this incident on my dash cam. It was not a hit-and-run, but the person in front of me ran a red light to turn left, and the oncoming traffic ran into him.
That wasn't the same vehicle. It was a pickup that hit him and an SUV stopping at the end of the clip. I'm guessing that pickup was not drivable after that collision.
SwordfishSomethings
Hey! My favorite Indian food Restaurant is right next to there!
magichal
I need to get a dash cam.

WAIT A MINUTE, RURAL ROAD? I see the "Tempe" on the sign too! Fuck me, that would've happened not far from where i freaking live!
SalmySwims
Why does this shit always happen on Rural?
alfaspud4
I live near there!
ExecutiveProducerWolfDyck
That's not karma, that's the direct consequence of them running the red-light.

And this, dear viewers, is why we obey traffic signals and don't drive like complete fuckheads.

Knew it was arizona instantly... never seen it this bad but ya people drive like assholes.

That dreamcatcher hanging on the rearview mirror caught a Dodge Ram instead.

It doesn't stipulate exactly *whose* dream it will catch

I feel bad for the driver of the pickup
MrNobodyLivesHere
His truck is totaled but he didn't lose much speed. They will be more pissed than hurt.
DubhIainn
Karma doesn't exist. Rules however, they exist for reasons; even when they are not enforced by cops all the time.
I severely hope that the people in the other involved car are fine.
IAmTheBadW01f
I might consider karma if the consequence didn't have a direct causal link to their stupid actions
RooGryphon
yes, and suing the driver for all medial expensives incurred as a result of her negligence and legal fees that include car replacement
dghughes
Karma is so overused. It's like ying and yang there's good and bad karma but people these days use it as a curse, wishful harm.
tzahtman

looks like Tempe, AZ
magichal
Text at the end describes the situation and says it's in Tempe, AZ. Nice call.
sh1eldbearer
I live in the area and recognized it immediately, even before I saw the street sign at the off-ramp intersection.
sourpants17
It's the decor on the walls that's a dead giveaway for me
mtsheppy
I was thinking that looked like US-60 through Phoenix, then I saw the Rural Rd sign. Yep, seems about right for us...
TyrannusEquus
So what karmic wrong did the person in the truck do?
tesseract4d2
We will never know. Maybe they have someone chained up in their basement, maybe they're an ICE agent. Obviously the universe hates them.

Car replaced. That's totaled. And it's a pain in the ass and expensive even with insurance

Seems the were filming her initially because she hit their car and didn't stop. Then tried to get away by ignoring a red light.

The fleeing car probably is hiding something much bigger. They'll definitely find out now

nah there is a Cafe Rio on the south side of the freeway on Rural rd.

Note that that's not censorship; *they put a translucent sticker on the glass* to hide their identity. Meaning they're a regular at this.

Also it has some texture (also static), and I think I see a logo or an etching (or a botched application hole) at the corner of the material.

ANALMUFFIN
Always feel bad for the innocent people who get involved. That was a big crash
AverySomething
Most of the crash was the dipshit's momentum turning against him once the pickup spun him. The pickup barely swerved or slowed. They're fine
AverySomething

Oof, that airbag broke his neck, right?

Probably in a non-fatal manner, but yeah, the risk of a dens fracture is super high in that scenario.
