8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don’t you need to process it more in the slab to get it tempered?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I heard the knife on the stone and shuddered.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And it fit like perfectly around the cake! Cool!

Dude, if you think this is impressive you should look up videos of the Mackinac Island fudge chefs.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anyone else a line cook at a shitty chain retaurant and think this is just normal?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I read it as tempered chocolate cake wasp and watched intently and confused until I re-read the title...

For the most basic of your giffing needs, google GifCam. I use it to capture gifs, works well for me.

I always see them do the detail work and throw the little scraps away knowing I'd be morbidly obese in this job from always eating them.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I'm morbidly obese in this job from eating them. 12-14 hour shifts without tea breaks doesn't help.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do you ever get sick of the scraps? Or do they stay delicious ?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You get sick of them. So, so sick of them. Oreos? Sick of 'em. Ferrero rochers? Sick of 'em. Nutella can fuck right off too.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think for that fact along I wouldn't want to do this. I don't want to hate the things I used to enjoy.

Is the marble slab on a piece of ice?

8 years ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 3

It's on a cold plate. Similar to what keeps a salad bar cold.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

no, its piece of lava.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I don't think it's on Ice. I worked at a Marble slab as a teengaer for 5 months. Never saw dryice come in. Pretty sure it's plug in/turn on.

8 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 1

Look up Peltier plates.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not marble.. fittingly granite.. ;)

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 2

I work with in the granite countertop manufacturing business. I can confirm this is a granite, This one is called Bianco Antiquo

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks like diorite to me.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It reminds me of bianco sardo granite - which is used for kitchen countertops or boards. But it maybe could be diorite..

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cool ranch

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That looks like granite to me. My guess is that it's just cold, the slab itself.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Diorite, more likely.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is that more likely? Granite is extremely popular for use in kitchens.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because they just call all similar rocks granite. But they aren't all granite. Trying to sell gabbro or diorite is useless.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Real granite is actually less popular than diorite.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Guess it depends on where you live. I live like 30 minutes from one of the primary granite sources for the US.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one that thinks that's disgusting that he's doing that on the bare counter?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 133

It's a cooling stone designed for this use. Do you think it's disgusting when people eat off of bare plates?

8 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 1

A moment of silence for this comment.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I still won't delete it.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 16

Good on you! There's nothing worse than seeing a high number of downvotes and not knowing what it was.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Chocolatiers tends to work on marble slabs, to keep the temperature perfect for chocolate. It will be washed/ sprayed like a chopping board

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I think its disgusting you think a counter can't be sterilized like any other surface. Your kitchen must be filthy.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

probably has cats

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You can technically wash a used toilet seat to be sanitary to eat off, but I'd still never do that and think that that'd be disgusting.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 18

Your twisted view of the sanitation of a large glass-like slab designed to have food on it... is something you should probably work on.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I'll just work on my minor germophobia, that's so easy. Like telling a depressed person "just be happy!"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Dry ice I believe. You've never been to a cold stone creamery or a marble slab creamery? Same thing but they prepare your ice cream on it

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 11

Is that really a thing, i mean does vanity know no end? Who tf likes or eats cakes anyway, its not healthy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 90

I would eat cake as my kitchen burned down around me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, cake isn't healthy, but having some every once in a while is fine. Who pissed in your cheerios?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ken M?

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Sorry? Did you just ask who likes cake?

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

So based on your comment history, clearly you are an unsocial cunt. You got that going for you, which is nice i guess.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't like or eat cake, but what the hell, dude?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Who the fuck thinks acts like its everyday for everyone to go to a 'cold stone creamery'? You fat fucks.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 42

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I hope your bitterness goes away. Remember, someone out there loves you, think about them.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Dude are you okay? You seem like you need a friend.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

He's not saying everyday, some people just happen to have been to one at some point. Also, cake and ice cream are great in moderation
