As a bright spot in this whole mess

I mean, nothing short of Justinian's cadre could truly fix it, because those guys were freakin' legends, but perhaps we need a businessman. I still hate that orange fuck, but between the chance of this waking up the DNC and hoping he can actually do some decent business with America, I'm latching onto any silver lining I can find.

Probably wishful thinking, but I'm just going to grab any hope and not letting go until next election.

Businessmen don't balance the budget their accountants do

Honestly, he will end the bad trade deals that have been hurting the middle class for 20 years. So there's that at least.

republicans cut taxes, not balance budgets. trump's tax plan will lose the US $20 trillion in revenue over the next ten years

His plans include lowering taxes, increasing military spending, and spending money to build a wall. Those dont add up to a balanced budget

Mexico is gonna pay for the wall

So what you're saying is you don't actually know why we have an unbalanced budget. Okay.

Yeah that's what I said

You don't think a happy, healthy and educated population helps out the country as a whole in the long run?

We're talking about whether it's financially possible

Of course it is! We need repurpose our taxes. Stop spending 54% of the budget on the military and put that to work on our citizens

We can sacrifice the F-35. That kinda flopped.
