This was created by first drawing on wax paper in pencil, taping it to the mask, then puncturing the lines with a white pen. Next, the paper was removed and lines fleshed out in the mask in white pen before the design was painted in acrylic. Once the acrylic dried, the mask was taped off and four coats of autobody clear coat were applied. The art itself took only a handful of hours, but the clear coat required a week to cure. I’ve been using this mask for fencing and the design has held up very well (minimal scratching if any) against blows to the face.

What kind of paint are you using? I'd love to try a design of my own

Ah, sorry I saw this so late. I used acrylic and then did three layers with a clear auto body sealant. Still holding up

Sealant is dupli-color perfect match protective clear coat finish. I bought it at an auto store

Can you use that mask for other activities? Like beekeeping?

I imagine beekeeping is not to be recommended, as the entire back portion of the mask is open.

Maybe butterfly keeping, then.
