If I recall correctly, the smurf one was addressed in Donnie Darko.

This reminds me of a joke: "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Interrupting doctor." "Interrupting doct-" "You have cancer."

The Harold and the purple crayon comic was a good one

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

YAY someone else who knows Harold and the Purple Crayon!

This I like! Moar!

that one with the earth splattered on the windshield is a direct copy from The Farside though

I noticed this as well.

It really annoys me that the pinata and candy are floating away. The moon still has gravity!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yet, maybe not enough to counter his incredibly powerful whipping motion with the stick. At least, that's what I tell myself :)

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why is it hanging even after it is hit?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

..it took me awhile to see god as god. Nose looks like a neck, forehead as a head, beard as a dress, his cheeks as.... plsdonthurtme

I actually had to stop for a moment after seeing the alien windshield one holy crap.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

RIP Dale. He's at a better place now.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Argh... One time I overheard someone tell a guy a joke. His reply was to say “hashtag L O L” outloud. I died a little inside.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Toy story creeps me out

Can someone explain the rubick's cube joke?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The kid thinks he finished the cube but he didn't so the parents are taking him to the doctor to test if he is colorblind.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks man! (fun fact: i have minor type of colour blind)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can someone please explain the Rubix cube one please?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I was going to post the same thing. It was the only one I didn't get.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the little guy is color blind sooooo ...

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

In the last frame, the number in the picture on the wall can't be seen if you're color blind. It's a common test for color blindness.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get the humor of that one, but it is flawed on multiple levels.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This reminded me of the humor in ASDF movies

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

But do you like trains?

I don't get the Rubix Cube one. He solved it, so what?

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Should've been Gargamel

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Shit.. he's the hero in the story

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

He was probably going to use them to cure the Black Plague.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know! It's so inaccurate! Everyone knows that smurfs lay eggs.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

So Smurfette is like a queen bee....

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No, there was a Granny smurf that was the mother of all the smurfs.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I legit did not know that...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Smurfette is the exception, as she was created by Gargamel.

Is...is that Elaine?

11 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

These are very similar to Perry Bible Fellowship comics both in art and humor. If you like these check out PBF.

11 years ago | Likes 719 Dislikes 7

Nah, these are far less subtle than PBF.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even the comics page is set up exactly like PBF, with a comic at the top and a column of links to the others. Clearly homaging PBF.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Feels.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With a little bit of Pictures for Sad Children thrown in.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

one might say derivative

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Especially the transformers one.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Somebody missed those 200 comics from 12 years ago? I mean XKCD links there on the homepage.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Humor I can kinda see, but pbf has way better art.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Indeed they are. At first I thought this was PBF until I saw the URL.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

http://pbfcomics.com/ for those too lazy to Google it.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I see a lot more differences than similarities.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I thought the exact same thing. I haven't read the PBF in years, but I'm sure some of these are copies.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Several are (welcome) variations on specific PBF comics.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

These are similiar, yet Perry Bible Fellowship is much better.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

My first thought too. That Santa one looks JUST like PBF's style - homage or original artist under a new site?

11 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 1

No the work by the PBF artist has become amazingly detailed in recent years http://pbfcomics.com/261/

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Damn, good example image. :)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would say homage. This artist doesn't have the same illustration chops as pbf.

11 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Yeah, PBF are few and far between, but they're high quality.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Also, far more subtle.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a bit more low brow than PBF.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

I'd go with "less clever" than PBF. Or potentially even "knockoff."

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well I dunno... http://pbfcomics.com/4/

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

hey man that top class high-brow humor that there

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I LOVE Perry Bible Fellowship! But last time I checked they weren't releasing comics regularly anynore...

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He works a long time on comics, I saw him at a convention making his new one. At least he only posts quality work!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The Tom Cruise one....I fucking lost it right there. Don't even need to look at the other 20, I'm happy now

11 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 5

I do enjoy the fact that Katie wrote a letter to her former husband and addressed it with his full name.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can you explain it to me then? I feel pretty dumb not getting it :S

11 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I've even watched the movies. Literally shaking my head at my own slowness.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Mission Impossible, he lowers himself in a harness to a secured room almost to the ground and hovers in that horizontal position.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

same. commenting for explanation. please and thank

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

That's the famous scene from Mission: Impossible, where he drops into a tightly guarded computer room suspended as seen in the comic.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

omg. now it just seems stupid that i didn't get it. thank.
