It happened in Norway in a beautiful place called Hardangervidda.
Norwegian state meteorologist John Smits believes the reason behind the high number of deaths is that reindeers tend to stand close together in big groups and that they're two front legs and two back legs acted as plus and minus poles leading the electricity through them.
Because humans only have two legs (hah, loosers) standing close together, we dont have the same treath as four leggers.
Even as gruesome as this was can you imagen seeing this happen live? It must have been sad and amazing at the same time.
