Are you saying I can get an alert dog for my celiac disease?! Like what...can it sniff the gluten? No more endless label reading?!?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The 3 generations pic: the seed is strong

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#32 I love it, best hardhat ever

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

More like Why does Ben Affleck look like a sack of potatoes than the pupper

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Goldfish need a LARGE hole for their oxygen. A vase might look nice, but it will harm the fish!

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Wonder how many internet people called Kim Gip before she had to change her number.

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

#12 What exactly is a dog going to alert on for coeliac disease?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#12 MEMPHIS BUCKMINSTER!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you for the nice dump.

5 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

#41 the dog is your son? I think there's something in the Bible about that.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Where’s the UPS dog page?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@upsdogs found it!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

“meat me at the bus stop”

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why do you need a dog for Celiac disease?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Was wondering that myself. Maybe the dog alerts when she is about to have diarrhea?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

more like: you should eat more.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Foresight for the holiday food she's preparing.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Grandma is concerned he's not eating enough

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Grandma is encouraging him to get swole.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

#6 DO NOT PUT FISH IN BOWLS, unless it's just a temporary holding place while you clean their main aquarium.

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

This is the comment I was looking for

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It looks like a female betta - they're notorious jumpers, too. ):

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#8 - Damn, imagine going for some TP and getting a bite on the hand for entering its home lol

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

okay i imagined it and now i have imaginary rabies. thanks a lot, you butt! <3 :D

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't worry; just imagine getting shot. No, wait, getting shots, not getting shot! Sorry, @whoMalice! Hope you're not imaginary dead!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahaha, don't sweat it. It could only be at any public bathroom. BOOM! ?noredirect

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Them dogs high. I don't know how they worked a lighter, but they're just blunted, adorable, but just blunted

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can someone explain the wedding rings one? Asking for a friend.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I want to know too.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The best man payed the rollerblade-guy to bring the rings in as a surprise, the couple usually has no idea :)

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Can someone take that person’s snake away too. It should stay with it’s best friend.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Followup: This mouse did, in fact, attack and eat the snake.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No. Absolutely not. Mice and rats will attack and kill snakes. I don't know why it hasn't yet.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

As I recall, there was a follow up in which the snake was partially eaten.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah, that's not what happens. When snakes are full... they don't attack and are sluggish. The mouse will get bored and kill the snake 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

and the snake will be too sluggish to fight back, and just sit there as it is eaten.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Celiac disease alert dog?

5 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 1

"Dear god, does it sniff out gluten?... fucking hell, it sniffs out gluten."

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I understand why it exists. Prevent your celiac child from accidentally eating gluten. Kids share snacks ect.

5 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Until they are old enough to understand fully, It would help as even teachers can't watch students 100% of the time.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I was surprised too, but it does seem to be a thing: https://www.today.com/health/gluten-sniffing-dogs-help-people-celiac-disease-t112149

5 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Diabetes and seizure alert dogs are more common, but it could be trained to alert for any number of things.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Right? Must be a pure bread

I love animals, they rarely set cities on fire...well maybe Chicago but there is no proof.

5 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 2

The cow knew what those people did.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You get my +1 for being the first thing to make me laugh today. Thanks! PS- Mrs O'Leary's cow was framed!

This guy seems like he would https://images.app.goo.gl/huhxYfZKAu6BVz1W7

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Humans are animals and we're professionals at setting cities on fire.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Initially downvoted, then got the joke like ten minutes later. Good work

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I was about to be wildly offended.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ok what kind of doogos are the tax pics? Looks like Weimaraner mixed with Husky or Gsd?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They’re Labs! Dilute chocolate, breeder calls them silver

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They're stunning!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I also have a silver lab. She's a good girl.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You sure they're not lab x weimaraner?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they’re registered as chocolate! That’s what they think happened decades ago to get the color, though :)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're super pretty and those eyes, oh my lawd. Good dogs, well done!!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously people, don't put bettas (or any other fish for that matter) in bowls and vases. Give them the proper care they deserve.

5 years ago | Likes 622 Dislikes 7

Proper care means a balanced diet with sufficient protein because they are carnivorous, enough space for exercise to keep their heart

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

healthy, a proper tropical temperature between 76-82F, and clean, stable water conditions. A 20 gallon long is the perfect sized enclosure

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

for someone who wants to keep their fish healthy, but doesn't want a huge tank.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Also, don't put stickers on hardhats unless you want an OSHA write up.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is it because you can't see the outer structure and could miss a defect? Cuz otherwise I don't see why it'd be an issue

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't think it's true, but my OSHA instructor said the chemicals in the glue compromises the integrity of the hardhat.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I... Was unaware of this

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is a good PSA. I had no idea they couldn’t live in bowls. I had one in college that probably died for that very reason :(

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Mine had a 15 gallon tank with a water filter and tons of natural plants. Lavar was a baller

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My mom gave hers a 200 gallon tank and he would flash colors every time she walked by...that was one happy fish

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Awww! That's so cute! Lucky fish

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup she bought him after her angel fish died and the fish store told her "they are unhappy with big tanks" she told him to F off lol

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This. Was going to get one before research. They are not a low maintenance fish by any means and need a full on size aquarium to flourish.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Are there any low maintenance fish?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was going to do the same as I thought they were easy too. This is why you research any pet you plan to get prior to getting it though

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seasoned with salt and lemon for 1hr then battered and fried. That's common sense

5 years ago | Likes 262 Dislikes 8

Iightly fried

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

say that one more time

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah but it takes like a hundred of them to make a meal, same with hamsters. :(

5 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 1

Cui cui

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

You need the supersized hamsters to make goy.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You can get away with like 8-12 hamsters, they are like chicken nuggets.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

and the baby hamsters are like baby carrots! but meaty!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw a really neat bio vase setup at the local aquarium shop. Plant growing out the top for oxygenation etc. Otherwise agreed

5 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 3

Even that setup is terrible. Plants like that don't affect dissolved oxygen in the water, they are intended to consume fish waste, except

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

in order to use the nutrients in the waste it must first be processed by anaerobic bacteria, except there's no space for an anaerobic area

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

in such a small enclosure, so the waste can't even be converted into a form the plant can use, so the plant is almost entirely useless.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

They're tropical and need temperatures in the high 70s to thrive, and they need space to swim to exercise or they can get heart disease.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Quantities of water smaller than 10 gallons are difficult to hold the right temperature; trying to heat smaller quantities results in wide

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

temperature swings that will stress a fish out worse than low temperatures. So with a small enclosure you're forced to choose between having

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

your fish chilled or stressing them out with temperature swings, unless the ambiant room temperature is 78F or more.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I now feel bad for the beta my mom had in a vase for my like, entire childhood...but it was a big bio vase thing and loved quite a while.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ate that the plant, hid in the roots. Usual fish stuff

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Betta fish are carnivores. They can't eat plants. He was starving and resorting to bottom feeding by eating microbes off the plant roots.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had one in a vase like that with a shrimp, some planted plants and a pothos growing out the top right on the kitchen island. ¹/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He lived for years and seemed happier than he would have dying in that little container at the pet store.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 wasn't there a follow-up where the mouse partly ate the snake?

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Yes! Like everyone else said, don’t feed live unless you know they’ll eat it. It can get nasty and fast

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, don't leave live animals with snakes if the snake doesn't eat it.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Also just don't feed your snake live animals, it can get injured then too.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

DING DING. Never EVER leave live food in with reptiles, even crickets will kill reptiles! (exception: mealworms in a bowl)

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Same goes for just about ANY live feeding animals/bugs for ANY pet.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...how?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Crickets will eat the eyes right out of your reptile's head.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can't speak for the crickets, but rats and mice can be vicious. And for a snake to not feed, it's not unlikely there's an underlying issue

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

pushing the snake to not eat, such as illness, stress from improper husbandry or their beginning to shed. I always recommend not feeding

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Live meals because if the snake won't eat, the prey could do some serious damage.
