I tried to be a good slut and go slow.

okay so youll need a slow cooker, a good pincic roast pork shoulder, and whatever spices and sauces you like. the secret ingredient though, is liquid smoke.

Set your slow cooker to its medium setting, and rub down your meat. I do a house mix of garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, chili powder, and brown sugar. Placevthat bad boy fat side up in the pot for about an hour. Youll start to see liquid forming at the bottom and thats perfect. Add a couple dashes of liquid smoke, and I do mean a couple because its very strong.

After an hour, grab whatever sauce you like and drizzle over top of the fat. Turn your cooker to its lowest setting and let it run its course. The time will absolutely vary when it comes to different pots. The juices and fat from the pork will rise a hell of a lot but thats good.

then its just a matter of gently lifting the meat out, letting it cool for a few minutes, and deboning. I shred my pork and ladle in some of the juices from the crock pot into the meat. If its not up to snuff, Ill add some more of the house mix and a dash or two more of the liquid smoke and sauce.
